My Hero Academia" The third movie version will be released in theaters! Visual depicted in a mysterious new costume!

My Hero Academia," an anime series based on the popular comic series by Kohei Horikoshi serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump (published by Shueisha), will have its third movie version to be released in the summer of 2021.

The series has been serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump (published by Shueisha) since July 2014, and the total number of copies of the 28 comics published so far has exceeded 28 million. In addition, the popular "My Hero Academia" (original story by Kohei Horikoshi) has aired its first through fourth TV anime seasons, with the fifth season scheduled to begin airing in the spring of 2021.


In a world where about 80% of the population is born with "personality," a supernatural ability, many young people dream of becoming heroes, a profession that protects people and society. (The story of the hero, Deku Midoriya, who was born without "personality" and grows up in a prestigious school that produces heroes in order to become a full-fledged hero, aroused much sympathy and excitement, and the popularity of the series soared from the beginning. The series has been popular not only in Japan but also in North America, Europe, Asia, and the rest of the world.

As for movies, the first anime movie "My Hero Academia: 2 Heroes" was released in the summer of 2018 and became a huge hit with a box-office revenue of 1.72 billion yen. The second film, "My Hero Academia: Heroes: Rising," released in the winter of 2019, continued to be a smash hit, grossing 1.79 billion yen at the box office.

A third "Hero Academia" animated feature film has been newly produced and will be released in the summer of 2021. Kohei Horikoshi, the author of the original story, will be supervising the production and drafting the characters for the new version, which will feature an original and intense storyline.

The first visual release!

The visual of the third theatrical version has been unveiled for the first time. It shows Deku in his original black costume, which has not appeared in the original story or anime, and his classmates Katsumi Bakugou and Jyoritsu Todoroki, who are also aspiring to become heroes.
