Rainbow Six Siege", new operation "NEON DAWN" is now available! PS5/Xbox series X|S version is also now available!

Season 4 Operation "NEON DAWN", the last of Year 5, is now available in the tactical shooter game "Rainbow Six Siege".

This new season features the first operator "Aruni" from Thailand on the "Rainbow Six" team. In addition to that, the map "Skyscraper" has been reworked and new accessibility features have been added.

A next-gen version of the game is also available for PS5 and Xbox series X|S starting December 1, 2020. This next-gen version features visual and technical upgrades for the main game and additional content, including 4K/120 FPS (players can set the performance/resolution mode).

YEAR 5 Season Pass holders can use the new "Aruni" operator right now. Those who do not have the Season Pass can use the new operator after December 8 by using their fame points or R6 credits. New season additions and the reworked map "Skyscraper" are available to all players; a YEAR 5 Season 4 Battle Pass through February 22, 2021 will also be available.

The "Surya Laser Gate" equipped by the new defense operator Aruni is a gadget that places lasers on walls, hatches, doors and windows. When attackers or their gadgets pass through the Surya Laser Gate, damage is inflicted, but when defending operators pass through, the lasers are turned off. This gate is intended as an obstacle, destroying all drones and projectiles and damaging the operators. The "Aruni" can be equipped with the "P10 RONI" or "MK 14 EBR" as main weapon and the "PRB 92" as subweapon.

In addition to the addition of new operators, the map "Skyscraper" has been reworked with three major changes. First, in order to allow attackers to advance inside, the number of balconies has been reduced and rearranged, removing areas where attacks were previously possible from multiple locations simultaneously. Also, the area with the dragon statue on the second floor of the building has been changed to an interior area. Finally, the placement of bombs has been adjusted to create more tactical play.

Supporting Charity Activities
Operation "NEON DAWN" has launched the Sixth Guardian program, which supports charitable activities through the sale of "Siege" in-game bundles. This Doc Sixth Guardian bundle includes a Doc uniform, headgear, weapon skin, and charms. All proceeds from the bundle will be donated to The AbleGamers Charity, which aims to improve the quality of life for people with disabilities while fighting social isolation.
