TOMY will release two new dolls, "Demon Slayer Demon Slayer Priestess Kamado x Rika-chan" and "Demon Slayer Tanjiro Kamado x Harutokun" (price: 9,000 yen each, excluding tax), a collaboration of the TV animation "Demon Slayer" and the dress-up doll "Rika-chan". The products will go on sale in May 2021 at toy specialty stores, department stores, mass merchandisers, online stores, and Takara Tomy's official shopping site "Takara Tomy Mall", etc.

The TV anime "Demon Slayer" is based on the manga series by Yoseharu Gouge, published by Shueisha Jump Comics. The series began in the 11th issue of 2016 (released on February 15) and willbe completed in the 24th issue of 2020 (released on May 18). The series has sold more than 120 million copies (including digital editions) and has been adapted into a TV anime on TOKYO MX and 20 other stations from April 2019, with the "Demon Slayer" Infinity Train Movie version to be released on October 16, 2020.

Demon Slayer" and "Rika-chan," a nationally known dress-up doll that has been loved by parents and children for more than 50 years, have collaborated to produce "Demon Slayer Priestess Kamado x Rika-chan" and "Demon Slayer Tanjiro Kamado x Harutokun". The "Demon Slayer" dolls are designed to be loved by "Demon Slayer" fans for their costumes, hairstyles, and other features, and are designed to be enjoyed in the way that only "Rika-chan" can, such as by playing dress-up and by the feel of the materials used in the costumes.

The costumes are detailed and easy to change, with separate upper and lower parts for the haori, kimono and obi, as well as for the uniform. Due to the attention to detail in the accessories and the texture of the fabric used for each costume, the product is intended for ages 15 and up.

Rika-chan is based on the Demon Slayer character "Priestess Priestess Kamon," with black hair in loose two-tone curls and elegant makeup that gives her cheeks a hint of color in the cold season.
Her pink eyes and Priestess' trademark bamboo tube and hair ornament are also reproduced in Licca-chan size.

The kimono, obi, leg covers, tabi (socks), and zori (Japanese sandals) are each individually designed, allowing users to enjoy playing with them in various combinations.

Demon Slayer Tanjiro Kamado x Harutokun

Harutokun (Rika-chan's boyfriend) is based on the image of Tanjiro Kamado, the main character in "Demon Slayer." The scar on his forehead, earrings, and other features of Tanjiro's character are reproduced from the world of the Demon Slayer series. Joint parts are included with the "Hiwato," allowing the figure to be posed with the sword in her hand.

The haori is removable, and the word "滅" is engraved on the back of the troop uniform.
The leg parts, including the pants of the uniform, are made of a pair of boot-like shoes that combine the kyahan (leg band) and zori (slippers) into a single piece, for both silhouette and playability.
