The synopsis and scene cuts of the first episode (60 episodes of the series) of the TV anime "Shinkage no Kyojin" The Final Season, which will start airing on NHK Sogo at 24:10 on December 6 (Sunday), have been released.

Based on the manga of the same title serialized in "Bessatsu Shonen Magazine" (Kodansha) by Hajime Isayama, "Shinkage no Kyojin" aired its first TV anime season in 2013, followed by Season 2 in 2017, Season 3 in 2018, and Season 3 Part 2 in 2019. Season 2 aired in 2017, Season 3 aired in 2018, and Season 3 Part 2 aired in 2019. The final season, "Shinkage no Kyojin" The Final Season, is scheduled to begin airing on NHK Sogo on Sunday, December 6, 2020 at 24:10.

The animation production will be handled by MAPPA instead of WIT STUDIO, and will be produced by a new staff led by director Yuichiro Hayashi.
