A key visual for the TV anime "The Promised Neverland" Season 2, which will start airing on January 7, 2021 (Thursday), has been revealed. Broadcast information, staff and cast were also announced.

Yakusoku no Neverland" is an anime work based on a popular manga series in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (published by Shueisha), written by Kaiu Shirai and drawn by Posuka Demizu. It was completed in the 28th issue of Weekly Shonen Jump (June 15, 2020). From the first comic volume (released on December 2, 2016) to the 20th volume (released on October 2, 2020), the total number of copies sold worldwide is over 25 million. It won second place in the Comics Division of the 3rd "Next Comic Award" and Takarajimasya's "This Manga is Amazing! 2018", and many other domestic manga awards.
The TV anime adaptation will be directed by Mamoru Kobe, the director of the "Everything Becomes F" and "You and Me" series, and the series will be composed by Mamoru Kobe, the director of "The Perfect Insider" and "You and Me. series; series composition by Toshiya Ohno of "Blue Exorcist Kyoto Fujoou-hen" and "Zenkitachi wa F ni naru The Perfect Insider"; character design by Mamoru Kobe of "Magical Girls Are Enough! Kazuaki Shimada of "Yamanosume" and Takahiro Obata of "Boku no Hero Academia" and the drama "Kakama ni Kimano Kimyou wo Kurezumeshimasu" will provide the music. The animation production will be handled by CloverWorks of "Darling in the Frankis" and "PERSONA5 the Animation".

The key visual of the TV anime Season 2, which will start airing on January 7, 2021 (Thursday), has been revealed. Broadcast information of Season 2 on various stations and information on the staff and cast were also announced.

Season 1, which is currently being rebroadcasted, has only two episodes left. The 12th episode will feature a gorgeous commentary by Yuko Kaita and Keiko Kitagawa, who play the same Isabella in both the anime and the movie, so be sure to watch both the Season 1 rerun and Season 2, which will start on January 7 (Thursday) next year.
