■"Minori Suzuki 2nd LIVE TOUR 2020~Now Is The Time!

Date: Tuesday, December 2, 2020
Venue: Seinenkan Hall, Tokyo

Considering the recent social situation, the three originally scheduled shows of the 2nd live tour (Fukuoka, Osaka, Nagoya) were cancelled, and only the final show in Tokyo was held.

A strong backing band of Katsutoshi Kitagawa (Gt & Bandmaster), Maoki Yamamoto (Dr), Manabu Chigasaki (Ba), Kensuke Okuda (Gt), Hanako Suenaga (Key), and Yasushi Mori (Per & Manipulation) appeared on stage. Kitagawa encouraged the audience to clap along, and Yamamoto's drums echoed through the hall in time. As the hall became groovy with drums and claps, Minori Suzuki appeared with a smile on her face. After a kiss, she launched into the opening number, "Now Is The Time! The skirt that fluttered as she spun around seemed to express the excitement of the beginning of the live performance. During the song, the audience enjoyed dancing, box-stepping, dancing near the band members, listening to the piano, and moving around the stage. During the following song, "Damehadame" (the ED of the TV anime "Tejinsei Senpai"), they waved their hands left and right and clapped with the audience, enjoying a sense of togetherness they had not felt in a long time. The way they ad-libbed and changed the nuance of the song in various ways was also impressive.

During the first MC, they told the audience that this tour was in support of their 2nd album "Uemino" released on August 26, and they immediately performed "gloria" from the album. He continued with "One More Step," a coupling song for "Damehadame. This song, which he said he had not sung in a while, was arranged by a cool band and had a different flavor from the original. The next song, "Rewind" (ED of the TV anime "Cardcaptor Clear Card Arc"), had the audience enjoying the choreography together, and balloons floated around the venue, creating a fun mood.

Sitting on a sofa prepared on the stage, they sang "Tsukiyo no Yume" (Moonlit Dream). The sparkling and bright atmosphere of the previous songs was completely transformed by her soft and whispery voice. After the song, she opened a book and began to recite a poem she had written. The song began with the poem "Maboroshi (Maboroshi)," which is also included in "Kami-Mino," and was probably written to express the feelings of the main character, which immersed the audience in the sad world of the song. In the latter half of the song, the overflow of feelings and the feeling of almost breaking down and moving a little forward were also moving.

Okuda's guitar solo in the outro of this song was truly wonderful. In the meantime, Minori Suzuki, who had taken off her black jacket and was dressed in white, appeared and sang "Watashi wa watashi ni naritai," which she had written herself, as if to say to herself. She then sang "Yozora (Night Sky)," the ED theme for the TV anime "Koisuru Asteroid," enveloping the audience with her clear and beautiful voice in the soft blue light.

Hello to the farthest end" using a stand microphone. The song seemed to have been written for everyone to raise their voices and enjoy it, but since they could not speak at this live performance, he suggested that the audience enjoy it by making a circle with their fingers, "WO WO WO". Everyone tried their best to raise their hands in the shape of an "O," but Minori Suzuki, who is very good at getting the audience excited, showed her true talent by encouraging the audience to raise their arms more forcefully. In addition, during "O-sentimental Mental," her charm as an entertainer was on full display as she did the stop-motion arrangement of the outro, doing the Awa Odori dance and striking some strange poses. I think this fun was felt by those who were watching the performance via the delivery.

After building up the voltage with "I don't know what's wrong with me, baby" and "Maittara," both of which were accompanied by cute dance moves, she turned it up another notch with her debut song "Feeling Around," the OP theme song for the TV anime "Ramen Daisuki Koizumi-san! The audience was enjoying the performance with gusto while wielding green onions, and at the height of the performance, the intercom rang out of nowhere with a "ping pong" sound.

Minori Suzuki froze when she saw Shoji Kawamori, director of the anime "Macross Delta," who had transcended time and space to deliver ramen noodles to the stage. The surprise performance was a great success, as the staff was supposed to bring it to the stage during rehearsals. The completely new "Macross Delta the Movie: Absolute LIVE!!!!!!" is also being diligently produced, and we could not wait for its release in 2021.

For the encore, they performed "God Bless You," a song from "Macross Δ," together with Ai Nakajima, who played Ranka Lee in the previous "Macross F" in the series. Although they are senior and junior members of the same office, this was the first time for them to perform together in a live solo performance. Despite their nervousness, they occasionally made eye contact as they lay their voices on top of each other. The sadness in the positive quality of their voices was irresistible and brought tears to my eyes. The performance continued with "Anata no otto" by Ranka Lee, a song that Minori Suzuki had sung many times when she was studying to be a voice actress. It was quite moving to hear "Macross Delta" and "Macross F" songs sung in succession outside of the live performance of the works.

Next was the new smartphone game "Project Sekai Colorful Stage! feat. Hatsune Miku," a solo cover of "Mobile Phone Love Story" sung by Ena Shinonome, played by Minori Suzuki. She also mentioned that she had recorded the most songs with Ena this year, and it was so cool that it made me want to listen to the other songs as well. The last song of the encore was "Isse-no dekko! The audience was very excited to hear the song. This song shared the joy of live performance and made everyone happy, bringing smiles to their faces as they closed their second live tour. There were surprises and duets with guests, making it a special live performance for this one day only.

The album version of "Damehadame", a killer tune that makes full use of the voice actor world's greatest "peculiarity", "Yozora", a ballad sung in a quiet way, and "Ephemera wo Tsumete", a single cut for limited distribution, are newly recorded numbers by unique artists. The second album features newly recorded numbers by a team of unique writers, and is a must-have for those who want to "stretch out their chopsticks" when they listen to it. Co-produced by Katsutoshi Kitagawa (ROUND TABLE) and Masao Fukuda (FlyingDog), the album exquisitely brings out the flavor of Minori Suzuki's ingredients.
The bonus BD attached to the initial limited <Shio disc> includes the first commercialized "Damehadame" and "Ephemera wo Tsumete" Music Videos, and two new video clips of "YouTuber Minoringo", which has been secretly booming.
