On December 5, 2020 (Saturday), during the "New Information! Starlight Continuous Live Broadcast" on December 5, 2020, it was announced that the release date of the theater version of "Girls☆Geki Revue Starlight" has been set for May 21, 2021 (Friday).

The "Girls☆Geki Revue Starlight" is a new type of live entertainment in which the "musical" and "anime" are interlinked and developed.
Starting with the musical, the main cast members of the musical directly voice the anime version.
The series has been widely developed as a musical, comic adaptation, TV anime, and game application, and the new "Shoujo Kageki Revue Starlight the Movie" will be released on May 21, 2021 (Fri.).
They are also active in music as "Starlight 99 Group," a unit consisting of nine members of the main cast.
