Netflix Original Animated Series "Transformers : War for Cybertron Trilogy Chapter II: Earthrise" will be distributed exclusively worldwide starting Wednesday, December 30, 2020.

Netflix and Hasbro have teamed up with Rooster Teeth for this film. Animation production will be handled by Polygon Pictures, creators of the Netflix original animation series "Levius" and the animated film "GODZILLA" trilogy.

The latest installment in the globally popular "Transformers" series takes place on the planet Cybertron, home of the Transformers. In the previous film, "Chapter I: Siege," the Autobots found the ultimate way to save Cybertron, but the Allspark was released into space, and Optimus Prime and his team left Cybertron in pursuit of its whereabouts. In "Chapter II: Earthrise," Cybertron is devastated by the loss of the Allspark, and a deadly battle in space is depicted.

Megatron and his Decepticons continue to fight against the Autobots, including Elytar-1, while advancing the "Nemesis Project. However, the plan hides a terrible secret that puts even the Decepticons in danger. Meanwhile, Optimus Prime and his men are being pursued by an army of mercenaries who are after their reward, and a new threat, Quintesson, the creator who gave the Transformers their powers, and the battle that shakes the planet intensifies.

The Japanese trailer for the film has now been released. In the trailer, "Quintesson" appears, his eyes glowing with a mysterious light, as a disturbing voice says, "Do you know who I am? Meanwhile, the remaining Elite-1s on Cybertron are seen fighting an epic battle, saying, "It's not over yet. There is also a scene in which Megatron, who is relentlessly pursuing Optimus Prime, comes at him with a determined look on his face as he hears someone's voice saying, "We must choke the life out of Optimus Prime," raising expectations for a new development in their battle.

<Story
