New monsters are revealed!

Mermaid Dragon Isonemikuni

This monster is called a "mermaid dragon" because it looks like a woman in the moonlight and swims freely and gracefully in the water. Despite its name, however, it is a ferocious creature that shows no mercy to those who trespass on its territory.
When its prey appears, it sprinkles sleeping powder from an organ in its throat, putting the prey into a comatose state before it can be killed.

Bishutengu Bishutengu

This monster is characterized by its well-developed tail.
It is omnivorous, but it is especially fond of fruit, and stores persimmons in a pouch on its abdomen. It is curious and mischievous, and has been seen throwing persimmons at its prey using its tail and other parts when hunting.

The series' well-known monsters also appear one after another!

■Water Beast Roaldroth

A male Ludlos, also known as a "water beast," is a larger version of the Ludlos.
The spongy scales on its neck contain a large amount of water to prevent the epidermis from drying out and to help it operate on land.
When the sponges begin to atrophy, they lose their ability to function, so they try to recover by storing water. They also spit out a special mucus that they use to catch their prey by scooping it under their feet.

Dosfroggy, the poisonous dog dragon

The dsphlogyi, also known as the "poisonous dog dragon," is a species of avian dragon.
They work in packs, and the leader of the pack is an adult male that is particularly large and highly venomous.
The pouch around its throat swells before it spits poison, and when it simultaneously lifts its head, it has been seen to spit aerosolized poison that stays in place, so be careful.

Field "Submerged Forest"

A deep green unexplored area with dense trees.
The water flow never ceases, and most of the area is submerged in water. The huge ruins are eye-catching and can be climbed with the use of "Sho-mushi".

Environmental creatures living in the field, and examples of their use!

Monsters that bare their fangs at hunters are not the only creatures in the hunting grounds.
There are also creatures called "environmental creatures" that bring various benefits to hunters with their special ecology.
In this issue, we will introduce some examples of their classification and utilization.

Sustainably Enhanced Organisms" whose status can be enhanced until the end of a quest.
Hitodamadori

A small bird that, upon contact, can enhance either the hunter's strength, stamina, attack power, or defense until the end of the quest.
The increase in strength and the upper limit of the enhancement depends on the equipped hana-yui.

New equipment "Hanamusubi

This is an amulet made of a woven plant called "sow grass," and can be equipped like a weapon or armor.
The pollen attached to the "starlings" will attach to the "Hanamusubi," creating a fragrance that will inspire the hunter and strengthen the hunter's strength for the duration of the quest.

There are several types of flower wreaths available, including those that easily increase attack power and those that have a high upper limit of strength enhancement, so you can choose the one that best suits your preferences.

The "hunting equipment creatures" can be caught and used like an item.
En-enk

A type of weasel that, when used, releases a special pheromone like smoke that can induce large monsters nearby.
By guiding them to areas where other monsters are, they can target each other and fight for territory.

Up to five hunting creatures can be captured in a "hunting creature cage" and used like an item until the end of the quest.

▼ "Trap-type creatures" that provide effective effects for hunting monsters
Kigania

A gluttonous carnivorous fish that instantly becomes ferocious when fed raw meat and gathers to devour it.
By taking advantage of its appetite for raw meat, it will even nibble at monsters and hunters in the vicinity of the raw meat it has been fed, inflicting damage on opponents in the vicinity.

Instantaneously enhanced creatures" that temporarily give an advantageous effect.
Ittanmonshiro

A butterfly that scatters scales when provoked.
The scales contain an ingredient that increases the bonding strength of the skin, temporarily boosting the hunter's defenses.

The environmental organisms introduced here are only part of the story. In this work, there are a variety of environmental creatures, and you can enjoy hunting by taking advantage of them.
