Bride of the Fifth Estate" is a manga by Haruba Negi serialized in "Weekly Shonen Magazine" (Kodansha). A total of 14 volumes of the manga have been sold, with a total of more than 13 million copies in print. It is a romantic comedy in which the main character, a high school boy living in poverty, becomes a tutor for five unique girls who are on the verge of failing school, and struggles to lead them to graduation.

The second season of the TV anime, which will air from January 2021, will be directed by Kaori of "Endoro! The series composition is by Keiichiro Ochi, the same as the previous work, and the animation is produced by Vively Animation Studio of "Azure Lane" fame.
