Weekly Shonen Jump serial "Censorman" will be adapted into a TV anime by MAPPA! Teaser visuals and comments have arrived!

It has been announced that the manga "Chainsaw Man" from Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump will be adapted into a TV anime.

The "Chainsaw Man" (written by Tatsuki Fujimoto) is a popular manga that has been serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" from the first issue of 2019 to the second issue of 2021, and has sold more than 5 million copies (including digital editions) of comics. It is a dark hero action manga in which the main character, Denji, becomes a "chainsaw man" when he has a chainsaw demon in his heart, and fights as a public security devil hunter.

The TV anime adaptation of "Censorman" has been decided. Production will be handled by MAPPA, which is also responsible for the TV anime "Jujutsu Kaisen" currently being broadcast.
