Eden" played by Hideaki Ito suddenly appeared in the last episode of the TV series and created a great sensation, but his true identity is finally revealed in the movie version.

The new "Masked Rider Saber" is the second 2025 Masked Rider movie, which is currently airing on TV. This short film depicts the battle between the immortal swordsman Bacht/Kamen Rider Falsion, who has released the Book of Doom, and the six swordsmen of the Sword of Logos, or Masked Riders, who have been chosen by the Holy Sword.

The two major riders, who will open the curtain of 2025, will appear on the screen at the same time.

Theatrical Short Kamen Rider Saber: Swordsman of the Phoenix and the Book of Ruin

We began with "Kamen Rider Saber: Swordsman of the Phoenix and the Book of Doom," a short film about the two great riders.

On stage were Shuichiro Naito (Kamiyama Tobashin as Kamen Rider Saber), Takaya Yamaguchi (Shindo Rintaro as Kamen Rider Logos), Asuka Kawazu (Sudo Mei), Rikyu Aoki (Fukamiya Kento as Kamen Rider Espada), Yuki Ikushima (Ogami Ryo as Kamen Rider Buster), Keishi Togashi (Ren Himichi as Masked Rider Kenzan), Hiroaki Oka (Tetsuo Otaiji as Masked Rider Slash), and director Takayuki Shibasaki. And the guest character from the short film, Kenshi Taniguchi (Bacht / Masked Rider Falcion).

When asked how he felt after watching the completed film, Mr. Naito commented that the film was very impressive, saying, "It's less than 20 minutes long, but the experience is about 40 minutes long. Mr. Aoki, Mr. Togashi, and Mr. Ikushima also pointed out the "scene where all six riders transform at once" as a highlight, while Mr. Oka, who is the biggest "Rider freak" among the cast, said, "There is foreshadowing that leads to the future of the TV series, so please pay close attention to it.

Mr. Kawazu, who says that his role in the film was "to show what Masked Rider is all about," said he was "moved to see how everyone's thoughts were united" in the scene where the six transformed at the same time.

On the other hand, Taniguchi-san, who plays the guest antagonist, has not appeared in a "Rider" film since his role as Jin Takayama/Kamen Rider Amazon Alpha in "Masked Rider Amazons" in 2016. As a senior Rider actor, he commented, "I think I was able to rise above them (appearing in Saber), and the more powerful the enemy, the stronger the hero, so I thought I would be a more powerful enemy" and "I hope I could show my part as a senior Rider.

Mr. Naito, who faced him, also reminisced about the shooting scene, saying, "Taniguchi-san is cool and scary. As for the battle scene between Tobiwa Makoto and Bahat, he said, "Their feelings clash, so it's a very powerful scene. (I was a bit intimidated by [Taniguchi's] aura, but I didn't want to be outdone," he said.

In closing, he said, "Using this movie as a stepping stone, I will definitely return to the terrestrial wave after defeating everyone here! (Masked Rider Amazons was a distributed film.)" When Taniguchi declared, Naito said, "This will be my first starring role in a movie. I will never let (Masked Rider Saber lose and the title will be) "Masked Rider Falchion," so please come see it!" He countered. The two were sparking sparks even before the film's release.

MASKED RIDER ZERO ONE THE MOVIE REAL×TIME

Next, the completion report of "MASKED RIDER ZERO ONE THE MOVIE REAL×TIME" was presented.

On stage were Fumiya Takahashi (as Arito Tobiden/ Masked Rider Zero One), Ryutaro Okada (as Isao Fuwa/ Masked Rider Vulcan), Noa Tsurushima (as Izu and Azu), Hiroe Igata (as Yuia Blade/ Masked Rider Valkyrie), Daisuke Nakagawa (as Xun/ Masked Rider Xun), Tsunaya Sunagawa (as Ruia/ Masked Rider Rui) and Sakura Sakura. (Masked Rider Somu), Nachi Sakuragi (Tenshin Kyo / Masked Rider Souther), and director Teruaki Sugihara. Hideaki Ito (S, as Masked Rider Eden), Seiji Fukushi (Belle, as Masked Rider Abaddon), and Kona Yamazaki (Akeon Tono), who play guest characters in the film.

The broadcast of "Masked Rider Zero One" was suspended from May to June 2020 due to the new coronavirus. The movie version was originally scheduled to be released in July 2020, but its release was postponed due to the spread of the new coronavirus.

The film was made under such circumstances, and according to director Sugihara, filming was pushed through "even though it looked as if the film would be canceled. He also said, "It is a miracle that the film was completed," and "Thanks to the cast and crew who came to the site, it became an extraordinary work. I can proudly say that it is my graduation film," said the director.

Mr. Takahashi, who plays the main character, Oruto, prefaced the film by saying, "I am very sorry for the long wait," but added, "I think we were able to create a wonderful film because of the long wait.

Izu, played by Tsurushima-san, was destroyed at the end of the TV series, but her body was restored and given a new life in the final episode. He commented, "I hope that the audience will pay attention to how Izu grows in the 60 minutes of the film. Tsurushima said he was "moved to tears" when he saw the completed film, partly because of the emotional attachment he felt after working on it for a year, and he hopes the audience will be moved by the relationship between Izu and the others.

Mr. Okada said, "Fuwa has some funny scenes. I hope you get a chuckle out of it. Mr. Igeta said, "The scene with Ghost and Shesta. The scene where the girls get together was never shown on TV, so I want you to see that. I have never fought in the flesh before, so it was great to be able to fight with a Thousand Jackers.

In the TV series, the "Doomsday Thunderbolt.net" stood as an enemy of mankind, but in the film version, it appears as an entity that watches over the city. Nakagawa said, "I was able to work with Okada-san on the comical scenes, so I hope people will enjoy watching them. On the other hand, Sunagawa says, "I have always played the enemy of mankind, so there were times when I was at a loss to play the role of a friend of justice in a movie. However, with the help of his co-stars and the staff, he was able to shoot the film, and he was happy to say, "I think I was able to show a different and cooler destruction than in the TV series.

The highlight of the film is the guest characters in the movie.

Fukushi, who had failed three previous auditions for the role of a masked rider, said that he had longed to be a part of the film and that it was "fun to be there.

Ms. Yamazaki, who plays the mysterious Akeon Tono, confessed that she was excited to see Ms. Takahashi holding the Zero One Driver (the transformation belt of Masked Rider Zero One) on the first day of shooting. Seeing Mr. Yamazaki's excitement, Mr. Takahashi recalled that he also reconfirmed that he had done an amazing job for a year.

Mr. Ito, who himself is a Rider fan and watched "Zero One" with his 5-year-old child, smiled about his appearance, saying, "I think it was the best Christmas present I could give my children.

He added, "It was a tough shoot, but seeing the whole team (of the cast) working together on the role brought me back to my roots. I was happy to see that they were facing their roles while imagining the faces of the audience who would see the film.

In contrast, Takahashi said, "I was happy to see Hideaki Ito holding the progress key and saying, 'Transformation! I was happy to see Hideaki Ito holding the progress key and saying, 'Transformation! I was happy to see someone I had watched on TV for a long time trying to transform himself against me. That made me happy, and it also made me feel that I, as a person, could not lose to Eden.

One scene that left a particularly strong impression on him was the scene in which S asks Eden, "What do you know? I was so scared by Mr. Ito's performance during rehearsals that I was shaking. I couldn't pull it off in the performance, so I was trying to fill up my mind with 或人." It was a scene where the two actors clashed with each other with all their might.

In closing, Mr. Takahashi said, "This is the culmination of our work. I am confident that you will enjoy it. Please watch over us until the end.
