A special trailer containing scenes from the film "GINTAMA THE FINAL," which will be released in theaters nationwide on January 8, 2021 (Friday), has been released.

Gintama" (original story by Hideaki Sorachi), a very popular comic series in "Weekly Shonen Jump" that has sold more than 55 million copies in total, has announced that the popular anime series "Gintama" that has continued for 15 years will "really"(!?) come to an end this time. GINTAMA THE FINAL" will be released in movie theaters nationwide on January 8 (Fri.) next year.

There are only a few days left in the turbulent year 2020. This year will be a little sadder than usual because we won't be able to have a year-end party with our close friends... but a video of the popular characters from "GINTAMA THE FINAL" getting together and having a good time has just been released. I'm hoping that at least in the anime, we can get together and have a good time," says Tae Shimura (voice: Satsuki Yukino), a.k.a. Omyou. The trailer released this time is a scene from the film "GINTAMA THE FINAL," which is being unveiled for the first time.
