51 popular cast members line up for "Special Screening Edition World Trigger 2nd Season"! New cast members and scene photos are revealed!

The "Special Screening Edition World Trigger 2nd Season," scheduled to be screened on December 25, 2020, will feature a cast of 51 popular cast members. The new cast and scene photos have been released.

The anime "World Trigger" was produced by Toei Animation as a TV anime series, with the first season airing from October 5, 2014 to April 3, 2016 for a total of 73 episodes. Based on Daisuke Asihara's popular science fiction action manga "World Trigger" serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" and "Jump SQ." (Shueisha). World Trigger" has been gaining enthusiastic fans since its serialization in "Weekly Shonen Jump" and has remained one of the most popular works even after its transfer to "JUMP SQ.

The second season, a TV anime sequel, is scheduled to begin on January 9, 2021 (Saturday), airing every Saturday from 1:30 am on the TV Asahi network.

Prior to this, "Special Screening Edition World Trigger 2nd Season" will be shown for a limited time from December 25, 2020 (Friday), combining the first and second episodes of the second season and including an "original theater video". The story this time is the "Garopura Arc" which describes a fierce battle between members of "Garopura," a planetary nation that is subordinate to one of the largest military nations in the "Neighborhood," Ahtokrator, and the "Border" headquarters.

The cast of the B rank "Katori-tai", which will appear for the first time in the "Special Screening Edition" and the 2nd season of "World Trigger", has been unveiled.

The cast includes Megumi Ban as Yoko Katori, Kenji Akabane as Furo Wakamura, Yudai Mino as Yuta Miura, and Reina Kondo as Hana Somei, the leader of the Katori-tai.
