Today, Wednesday, December 23, the Ver. 1.2 update of the multi-platform open world RPG "Genshin Impact" was released.

New area, the extremely cold region "Dragon Spine" opens!

A new area, "Dragon's Pine," will be opened on February 23 (Wed.). In "Dragonspine," an extremely cold snowy mountain area, new exploration, puzzle solving, and new systems will be implemented.

■Dragon Spine area

New "Extreme Cold Environment" system

While exploring the Dragonspine area, characters will gradually accumulate an "Extreme Cold Gauge. When the gauge reaches its upper limit, the character's HP will decrease. In order to reduce the "Extreme Cold Gauge," players need to use objects clothed in the flame element or use special items.

■New "Winter Ninja Tree" system

When exploring the "Dragon Spine," one can find crystals called "Scarlet Red Marrow. Collecting "Scarlet Red Marbles" and leveling up the "Tree of Winter Ninja" will allow you to earn encounter connections, spun destinies, item blueprints, and more.

■New secret region "The Pinnacle of Findnir

After clearing the mission "Hidden Objects in the Mountain" and heading to the top of the mountain, a new secret region "The Top of Findonir" will be released. Challenging the unexplored region, you can acquire new relics, such as "Hero Wandering in the Ice Wind" and "Heart of Depravity".

■New event "Chalk and Black Dragon

By completing the mission "Chalk and Black Dragon", players can obtain the event's prize weapon "One-Handed Sword, Sword of Humus". During the event, the buff effect of the "Sword of Humus" will be unlocked by completing certain missions. Characters equipped with the "Sword of Humus" will receive a special buff when exploring the "Dragon Spine.

New character "Albedo (rock)" (CV: Kenji Nojima) appears!

From December 23 (Wed.), the event prayer "Deep Secret Inhabitant" will be held.
During the period, the limited ☆5 character "Albedo, the Prince of Chalk (Rock)" and the ☆4 characters "The Princess of Absolution! Fischl (Thunder)", "Harmless Sweetness - Sucrose (Wind)", and "The Trial Stone of Fate - Bennet (Fire)" will increase their appearance probability significantly.

Limited Time Weapon Pickup Event Prayer "Divine Casting Form" held!

From December 23 (Wed.), an event prayer, "Divine Casting Form" will be held.
During the period, the probability of appearance of new ☆5 weapons such as "One-Handed Sword, Blade of Zanzan" and ☆5 weapon "Dharma Weapon, Scroll of the Sky" will be greatly increased.
