The fall 2020 anime season has finally reached its final episode, and the number of productions has finally reached a certain level of excitement in the midst of the Corona disaster. We have heard the last of the OP themes that have colored each of the works. So, Akiba Research Institute conducted an official poll from November 9 to November 23, 2020, titled "Which song is your favorite? Here are the results.

Taking first place by a wide margin over second place was Rena Ueda's "Literature," the OP theme for "Witch's Journey. Rena Ueda is a young female voice actress who has been in the spotlight recently, but in this work, she is not a voice actress but an artist who sings the OP theme. She is popular for her authentic, older lady-like voice, but her acting ability is also highly regarded, and a glimpse of this can be seen in the OP theme. Her high tone voice with a hint of whispering is one of the charms of her voice, and the way she sings carefully as if she were spinning out each word is exactly like her acting. The dark and subdued atmosphere of "Witches' Journey" is also well suited to the color of the film, making it a memorable OP song.

The next song in second place was "Anti world" by Kanako Takatsuki, the OP theme song for "One Million Lives I Stand On". Kanako Takatsuki is the OP singer of "Love Live! Sunshine! Sunshine!", in which she plays the role of Hanamaru Kunikida. She is also a member of the idol group "Aqours," which appears in the same work, and is well known for her singing ability. This song, "Anti world," is a rock number that could be called a royal rock number, but her cool, upper-regarded singing style, which is different from the one she shows in "Aqours," makes the song even more appealing.

The next number three was the OP theme song of "Maoujou de Oyasumi"sung by Princess Suyaris (CV. Minase Inori), "Kaiyasumi! Sleep soundly! Souyaristo Seikatsu" sung by Princess Souyaris (CV. Inori Minase). The song is an up-tempo and comical character song that could be described as the royal road to success, and Inori Minase, who plays the main character Princess Suyaris in this work, sings the song in a cute manner, just like the comical atmosphere of the play. Since the theme of the song is sleep, the phrase "Non-REM sleep, REM sleep♪" is repeated over and over again, and once you hear the song, you will inevitably hear this phrase running through your head.

In fourth place was "Jujutsu Kaisen's"Eve "Mawari Kitan. Jujutsu Kaisen" is one of the most important anime titles in the fall of 2020, and this song, chosen as its OP theme, is a very thrilling, speedy, and somewhat cool number that matches the world view of "Jujutsu Kaisen". No. 6 Petit Rabbit's "Tenku Cafeteria" is the OP theme of the popular yuru-fuwa comedy "Okaigan wa Usagi desuka? BLOOM. Tied for 6th place was Suzuki Aina's "Motto Takaku (Higher)" from"Iwakakeru! - Sport Climbing Girls. Aina Suzuki is a voice actress who dominated the world with "Jyakami-chan Drop Kick," and she is also known for her singing ability, having originally sung folk songs.

No. 8, "DYING WISH" by Yu Hatanaka, is the OP theme for the suspense drama "Moriarty in the Land of the Rising Sun. It is a song with a solemn theme that fits perfectly with the dark but somehow beautiful world of the work. This is Yu Hatanaka's fifth single song, and his second anime tie-in following "Nakano Hitogenome [Live Action]" in 2019.

Finally, at No. 10, Mimyu Tomita's "Broken Sky" is the OP theme for "Nana the Incompetent. " This work is a suspense piece based on the theme of deception, and this song is an up-tempo number with a somewhat thrilling atmosphere in line with its worldview. The singer of this song, Mimyu Tomita, who as a voice actress often plays rather cute characters, shows her side as a sharp and cool artist in this work.
