The possibilities are endless depending on the combination! I played with "Bandai Animagia 5" where mixing builds are in progress! ICHIOSHII! Shokugan Road Vol.16

Hello everyone! This is Kariyasu☆, a hobby writer. In this corner, I'll be reviewing, modifying, and playing with Shokugan kits that interest me under the theme of "Shokugan for adults. The 16th issue is "Animagear 5," which is currently on sale from Bandai!

Animagear is a popular series of near-future mecha based on the concept of "New Generation Buddy Hobby," in which users can assemble, modify, and play with their own animal- and insect-inspired creations. Although the series has not yet been made into an anime or other media mix, an original story is currently being developed on the official website!

Let's make it as it is first!

Although inexpensive in price, the contents are quite voluminous. Each package contains the same parts for the bone frame, individual nick cowls and blood stickers for each kit, and assembly instructions are printed on the inside of the box.

Below is a description of each aircraft.

Dualize Kabuto Shin (a.k.a. Shin Musashi)

The successor to Dualize Kabuto, developed using MURAMASA's nick cowl. It is equipped with the "Fobidun Beast System," a function also known as a runaway program, only on the right half of its body.

The stickers that come with the figure are selectable, so the figure can be recreated with the "Fobidun Beast System" activated, and the four combined swords "Curse Blade Muramasa" also look really cool!

Dualize Stagger (a.k.a. Kojiro)

A stag beetle-shaped animagear developed as a sibling to the Dualize Kabuto series, Kozirow adores Musashi. It is armed with a large double pistol with high firepower and rapid rate of fire. It also has a scissors-shaped jaw that can be attached to the back of its head to serve as an antenna for searching for enemies.

Phoenix Neogears (also known as "Neogears")

A phoenix-shaped emperor gear clad in scorching flames, it is equipped with a special nick cowl that memorizes its shape throughout its body. It is an invulnerable machine that can instantly repair damage by heating it with its own flames.

Taiga on Throat (also known as "Taiga")

A tiger-shaped animagia. Its character is rough and ferocious. It uses its stick-shaped tail and claws to attack at close range, and the claw-shaped missiles on its back to attack at long range.

Bai Fu Gow Gears (a.k.a. Gow Gears)

Taiga's Byakugo-type Emperor Gear in its awakened state after releasing the limiter of all its functions. Not only has its originally high attack power and speed been further improved, but it can also deploy an extremely strong "electromagnetic barrier" and boasts top-class defensive capabilities among Emperor Gears.

The number of parts is not large, so each kit could be built in about one hour. Points to note are,

Some joints of the parts are hard, so be careful not to damage them by applying too much force.

Be sure not to misorient the parts (it is surprisingly easy to make a mistake!).

Stickers lose their adhesive power if you try to reapply them many times, so make sure to apply them neatly the first time.

Let's make your own original animagia!

The greatest appeal of animagear is its freedom. You can reassemble the parts like this to create your own original animagear. The possibilities are endless!

Furthermore, we have also used the kit that appeared in the first series (introduced in Part 3 of this series) to create an even more original Animagia! We call it the "Galeo Soldier! The character is set up as a fighting maniac who is good at both hand-to-hand combat and long-range shooting.

Mixing and building, in which various parts are freely combined to create your own unique aircraft, is a field that requires not only skill, but also a sense of style. Repainting and changing the color of the aircraft yourself will add even more fun to the process.
