The "Armored Trooper VOTOMS" exhibition commemorating the release of the Blu-ray Perfect Soldier Box is being held from December 26 (Saturday).

This event is an exhibition commemorating the release of the Perfect Soldier Blu-ray box containing all the video works of the series, and it features setting materials and key visuals of past "VOTOMS" series works, illustrations by Norio Shioyama (character designer) and Kunio Okawara (mecha designer), and other valuable drafts. The exhibition will also feature a collection of rare manuscripts including illustrations by famous modelers.
In addition, there will be a display of sculptures by famous modelers and original goods, including a reproduction of a painting autographed by Kunio Okawara.

The Akiba Research Institute editorial staff also visited the site. Let us introduce the contents of the exhibition, which are sure to make fans "swoon.

When you enter the event space on the 7th floor of Ikebukuro Marui, you will first see a chronological table of the main character, Chirico, and then a collection of setting materials from previous titles and original goods.

Then, setting materials and precious manuscripts of past titles are displayed.
The key point is that the exhibits are arranged in chronological order, not in the order in which the works were released. Visitors can look back on his works as if they were following in his footsteps.

It all started here: ....... Materials from the TV series broadcast in 1985 are also exhibited, of course.

The TV series is displayed by episode, such as "Udo-hen" and "Kumen-hen.

The OVAs that followed are also displayed in their entirety.

A large number of manuscripts by Norio Shioyama and Kunio Okawara are lined up in a row.
They are so powerful that one can almost smell the smoke of gunpowder.

Flyers and magazine advertisements from those days, which are now rare and precious, are also on display.

The exhibition also includes "Gorgeous Funeral Row" and "Tekkibyouhei Koroshiru," both of which were serialized in the Yarate Bunko magazine, as well as other works of fiction.

Spin-off works such as "Mellow Link," "Case; Irvin," and "VOTOMS FINDER" are also on display. Truly, everything from the "VOTOMS" series is on display!
