Prints of "Black Jack" are now available in a limited edition of 350 copies! Osamu Tezuka's original artwork reproduced using advanced reproduction techniques

To commemorate the 75th anniversary of Osamu Tezuka's debut as a manga artist on January 4, 2021, PREMICO Online Shop has begun selling "Black Jack: Connecting Lives," a high-resolution print reproduction of the original "Black Jack" drawing using the piezograph technique.

The work is delivered in a high-end frame with a silvery luster that further accentuates the painting's atmosphere. The attractive size of 54.5 cm (H) x 52.7 cm (W) makes it suitable for display in a variety of spaces, including living rooms and study areas. The edition is limited to 350 copies, and the edition number will be included in the back of the book.

Black Jack: Life Connecting" will be available at the PREMICO online store from Monday, January 4, 2021, the anniversary of the start of the serialization of Osamu Tezuka's debut work, "Maachan's Diary".

This is a high-resolution reproduction of the illustration that Osamu Tezuka drew for the cover art of Weekly Shonen Champion (November 14, 1977 issue) when "Black Jack" was serialized. It depicts Black Jack in a black coat.

Using an advanced reproduction technique called piezograph, the touch of the pen, signatures, and vivid colors are faithfully reproduced as in the original drawing. The colorful, high-definition reproductions bring back the excitement of the original.

A certificate of guarantee is attached to the back of the frame, indicating that the work has been officially supervised by Tezuka Productions. The certificate will include the edition number, which is limited to 350 copies.
