2.43 Seiin High School Boys Volleyball Club" is a novel by Yukako Kabei. Set in Fukui, surrounded by mountains and blue skies, it depicts the passionate adolescence of a small boys' volleyball club aiming for the national championship. <Introduction
After getting into serious trouble with a powerful junior high school volleyball team in Tokyo, Koushi Haishima relocates to his mother's hometown of Fukui, where he spent his childhood, and is reunited with his childhood friend Yujin Kuroba.
Despite their outstanding physical abilities, Kurobane is weak under pressure, while Haishima's overwhelming passion and talent for volleyball causes constant friction between them and those around them.
Waiting for them at the boys' volleyball club are the third-year duo of Oda, the passionate 163-centimeter-tall captain, and Aoki, the brilliant and tongue-tied vice captain; Coffino, who is allergic to sunlight and always wears long sleeves and long pants; and Okuma, a volleyball novice and other second-year students.
