The serialization of "Shinkage no Kyojin" will conclude on April 9, 2021! The final volume will be released on June 9! Author Hajime Isayama's comment has arrived!

The 33rd volume of "Shinkaku no Kyojin" will be released on January 8, 2021, and the 34th volume will conclude the series, which began in September 2009 and has been running for 11.5 years.

Shinkage no Kyojin" is based on the manga of the same title serialized in "Bessatsu Shonen Magazine" (Kodansha) by Hajime Isayama. As of January 5, 2021, 32 volumes of the manga have been published, with a total of over 100 million copies sold worldwide. Season 2 aired in 2017, Season 3 aired in 2018, and Season 3 Part 2 aired in 2019. The final season, "Shinkage no Kyojin" The Final Season, will begin airing on NHK Sogo at 24:10 on December 6, 2020 (Sunday).
The animation production will be handled by MAPPA instead of WIT STUDIO, and will be produced by a new staff led by director Yuichiro Hayashi.

The Weekly Shonen Magazine editorial department is preparing various projects for the conclusion of "Shinkage no Kyojin" so that readers can enjoy it until the end.

The final story will appear in the May issue of "Bessatsu Shonen Magazine" on sale on April 9, and the final comic book volume will be released on June 9, bringing to a close the 11 and a half years of serialization that began in September 2009.

The 33rd volume of "Shinkoku no Kyojin," one volume before the final volume, will be released on January 8.
The February issue of "Bessatsu Shonen Magazine," which will go on sale on January 9, will feature the Shinkage no Kyojin on its cover and will include two stories from volume 33. In addition, an original "Shinkage no Kyojin" can badge will be included as a supplement to the magazine, so be sure to check it out.

I have been saying for eight years that I would finish the book in three years, and it looks like I will finally be able to finish it.
It has been a very long story, but I hope you will bear with me until the end.
It was not that I was stretched by the editorial department, but rather, I was continuously rushed to finish it in the last years. I am sorry, it is finally over.
I will do my best for the final installment so that you will be glad you have read it until now.
