Monster Hunter Rise: New Action Guide - Shojyu

MONSTER HUNTER RISE" New Action Instructions: Manipulating the Dragon

Enjoy dynamic action by controlling monsters with the "Manipulation Dragon".

The new "Manipulating Dragon" feature allows you to control a monster by binding it with an iron thread.
This allows players to experience dynamic action using monsters that would normally be a threat to hunters!

Aim for the "Manipulation Dragon" with specific attacks or in fights between monsters!

A certain amount of damage from attacks using flying insects, or from fighting monsters or using certain environmental creatures, can put a monster in a "manipulative dragon standby" state.

By approaching a monster in this state and attacking when the sword is drawn, or by pressing a button when the sword is retracted, it is possible to manipulate the monster for a certain period of time.

Control a rampaging monster and perform dynamic actions!
While controlling a monster, you can perform special attacks and evasive maneuvers while guiding it through its rampage.

A variety of attacks that take advantage of the monster's characteristics.

Two types of attacks are available: a "weak attack" with a small gap, and a "strong attack" with a large swing and high power. These attacks can be changed by combining stick input and continuous input. Try out these attacks on a variety of monsters!

Turning a pinch into an opportunity.

Attacks and cowardice during maneuvers can be canceled by using the "Emergency Evasion" function, which can be used by consuming the Shou-Mushi Gauge. By doing so in time with the monster's attack, you can avoid the monster while frightening it, allowing it to counterattack!

Aiming to down a monster by hitting it, rush away

The "Rush Detachment" allows a monster in control of a dragon to break away from the dragon by rushing forward.
The "thrust away" function allows a monster to break free from a maneuver by lunging forward and hitting another monster or an obstacle such as a wall to inflict heavy damage and bring it down!

■Accumulate the "Manipulation Gauge" to perform powerful "Manipulation Moves"!

While manipulating a dragon, you can accumulate a "Manipulation Gauge" by attacking other monsters, and when it reaches its maximum, you can use "Manipulation Moves".
The powerful attacks that utilize the characteristics of each monster are a sight to behold!
