Store-specific illustrations of "Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kogyo" Blu-ray & DVD purchase bonus for all volumes were revealed!

Illustrations for the Blu-ray and DVD purchase bonus for each store have been revealed for the TV anime "Higurashi When They Cry," currently airing on TOKYO MX and other networks.

Higurashi When They Cry" was first released as a doujin game in 2002, and its interesting puzzle-solving and bizarre scenario spread by word-of-mouth, leading to a TV anime adaptation in 2006. It has been adapted into an animated TV series since 2006, and has also been made into a live-action movie.
It has been announced that it will be animated again in October 2020 as a new project, "Higurashi When They Cry," and that it will not be a remake, but a completely new work.
