Although the event was held without an audience due to the declared state of emergency, live viewing of the stage greeting was held at 193 theaters nationwide. In addition to the well-known members of "Manjiya," including Tomokazu Sugita, Daisuke Sakaguchi, and Rie Kugimiya, the stage greeting was attended by Shin-Sen-Gumi members including Shun Chiba, Kazuya Nakai, and Kenichi Suzumura, as well as "Gintama" all-star voice cast members including Akira Ishida and Fumihiko Tachiki. The talk was full of laughter and emotion, as is typical of "Gintama", until the very end. Here is the official report from the event.

The cast members appeared on the stage decorated with a gorgeous gold folding screen, wearing gorgeous costumes such as Hakama (traditional Japanese male dress), Harematsu (ceremonial dress), and tuxedo (tuxedo). Among them, Sugita, who plays the main character Gintoki Sakata, showed off his dazzling "silver" haori hakama! Elizabeth, who was dressed in an ox print in honor of this year's Chinese zodiac sign, the Year of the Ox, and director Chizuru Miyawaki also took the stage, all wishing everyone a "Happy New Year! The event started in the mood of a New Year's party.
Sugita said, "This is the culmination of 15 years of work," referring to the music, CG, and other creativity of the staff that has been passed down from the TV series. I would be happy if our play is like the secret sauce that has been passed down from one generation to the next," he said, as if biting his lip. Daisuke Sakaguchi, who plays Shinpachi Shimura, commented that he was deeply moved by the ending of the film, saying, "The ending of the past TV series was used in the film, and what we have been doing for 15 years has come to this form. Rie Kugimiya, who plays the role of Kagura, said excitedly, "I felt the music and the action match each other, and I knew that everyone who had been supporting us for a long time would be thrilled by the exciting development of the story. Mikako Takahashi, who plays Sadaharu, said she had been wondering what would happen to Sadaharu at the end of the TV series, and smiled, "Just the fact that he is in the movie this time is a great feeling! She smiled.
When asked about his most memorable scene, Chiba Shinobu, who plays Isao Kondo, the head of the Shin-Sen-Gumi, said, "There was a scene that I have never seen in Takasugi before, and when I watched it as a viewer, it was a very good scene," referring to one of the key persons in the movie, Takasugi Shinsuke. Kazuya Nakai, who plays Shinseigumi deputy chief Jushiro Hijikata, laughed and said, "The realistic sound effect of the scene where Shinpachi steps on vomit was very moving. Okita has always used a bazooka at the wrong time, but this is the first time he is using a bazooka the right way! He commented emphatically.
Akira Ishida, who plays Kotaro Katsura, said, "I felt like I was watching the culmination of my 15 years of "Gintama" work." Looking back on the recording sessions for the film, he said, "It's a very good story about Gintoki, Takasugi, and Katsura, who are at odds with each other but are connected at the bottom of their hearts. As you might expect from "Gintama," it doesn't end with just a good story! I hope you'll watch the movie with a poke in your heart, "Katsura, you're so persistent! I hope you will watch the movie while making a tsk tsk with me in your heart.
The cast members laughed. Fumihiko Tachiki, who played Taizo Hasegawa, a.k.a. "Madao," who plays a major role in the latter half of the film, revealed that he was happy to see that Hasegawa had remained unwavering in his role until the end. If there is anything else from now on, please keep bumping me off!" He commented.
Miyawaki, who directed the last "Gintama," was more nervous than on the production floor, saying, "I'm rather facing the biggest challenge right now! The cast members cheered for him, saying, "Good luck! The cast members cheered for him, saying, "Good luck! I am very happy to have made it this far," he said, expressing his gratitude once again.
Next, the cast members looked back on the past 15 years and shared their "I'm sorry" and "thank you" episodes that they can say now. Sugita talked about the scene in the TV series where he sang "Be a Thousand Winds" with a hazy memory, and said, "I'm sorry I didn't sing it seriously. But that was written in the script that I wouldn't be able to sing it with a hazy memory! Thank you, staff, don't be silly!" He revealed the secret story of the recording.
Sakaguchi expressed his gratitude to Sugita and Kugimiya, who had played the members of Bankotsuya together, saying, "I enjoyed coming to the set with them, and they helped me and supported me at times because they made me feel positive. Kugimiya said of himself, "At first, I never wanted to say anything vulgar, but now I can say any kind of dirty word as long as it is in the script. I'm sorry!" she exclaimed. Takahashi revealed that she once auditioned for an idol role that was open to those over 30 years of age and was selected, causing a stir at her office. Ishida said, "I played the role of Odori in 'Gintama.
Ishida said, "I'm sorry, I was hoping that 'Demon Slayer' would be a hit! Good luck with "Gintama"! He gave a shout out to the audience. Chiba commented on Kondo, the character he plays in the film, who is often covered in mosaic, saying, "I'm sorry I keep showing you the unflattering parts of Kondo! I also want to say thank you to everyone who has been watching over me! I would like to apologize and thank you all for watching over me! Nakai said, "I'm sorry I told my children not to watch Gintama so much! Nakai said, "I'm sorry I told my kids not to watch Gintama so much!" But he also mentioned that his children are all grown up now, and he seemed to realize once again how long 15 years has passed. When Suzumura was asked on his radio which he liked better, "Demon Slayer" or "Gintama," he replied, "I'm sorry I answered 'Demon Slayer' on the spur of the moment! I'm sorry I answered "Demon Slayer" with such gusto," but then smiled again and said, "I love "Gintama" too! Tateki smiled and said, "I love 'Gintama' too! Tachiki added, "I love the 'Gintama' voice actors the most, no lie, and whenever I meet them, they are always kind to me! Thank you so much!" and expressed his gratitude to his co-stars.
Director Miyawaki thanked his fans, saying, "I want to thank everyone who came to the theater in spite of these times," and expressed his deep gratitude to Yoichi Fujita, the film's supervisor, and Shinji Takamatsu, the sound director, saying, "Thank you for bringing me here.
Next, a surprise message from a secret guest was revealed. The voice of Satoshi Hino, who plays the role of Kamui in this film! Hino, who is also known for his role as one of the main characters, Anjuro Purgatory, in the blockbuster movie "Demon Slayer: Infinity Train," sent a voice message as a "good luck" guest. The message began with the voice of Kamui saying, "The food on earth is good! The message began with Kamui's voice saying, "I'm going to kill the great man who didn't invite you (Kamui) to the stage greeting," and then came the famous line, "I'm going to kill you. In the end, Hino himself said, "My heart is always full of Gintama! Please enjoy the last Gintama to the fullest! Please enjoy the last Gintama!
In the last part of the stage greeting, a letter from Hideaki Sorachi, the original author of "Gintama," which has become a regular program at "Gintama" events, was presented. A stuffed gorilla, familiar to "Gintama" fans, appeared with the letter, and Kugimiya read the message from Sorachi on his behalf.

<Hideaki Sorachi's letter
This day has finally come, hasn't it?
This anime, which has been repeatedly endless scamming, will soon come to its true end. Have you prepared your hearts?
You are free to say good-bye with tears or with laughter.
I hope you will enjoy your last meeting with them in your own unique way.
What? Is it me? I'm ...... probably going to cry.
I've been looking forward to it, but also wishing this day would never come.
But I'm sure I'll wipe away my tears and say.
Farewell Shinji, Rei, Asuka.
Farewell, all Evangelions!
Shin Evangelion the Movie is coming to theaters on January 23rd!
Let's all go see it!
...... Eh? No? Not the "Anno" one, but the "Aho" Hideoaki one?
No, but both Hideoaki guys are doing the end of the show scam.
Sorry, I don't have anything special to say about that one.
Maybe Hideo's idiot friends have put everything into the movie.
So we, Gintama, don't even have to say good-bye.
I'm sure we'll meet again sometime, somewhere.
Thanks Uki-bi Poop.
Aho no Hideoaki

At the end of the event, Director Miyawaki and lead actor Sugita presented messages to the fans. Director Miyawaki again expressed his gratitude to the fans who come to see the film and expressed his hope that this film will be seen by everyone for a long time to come, touching on the current state of affairs. Sugita expressed his hope for "Gintama," saying, "The anime has reached its final stage, but the work will continue to exist and move forward into the future.
For 15 years, "Gintama" has been "breaking the rules" and "breaking the limits" of the anime world, doing whatever it wanted to do, running as fast as it could, and breaking the rules. The original author, voice actors, staff, and everyone else are running at full speed for the last run of the "GINTAMA" anime! The movie "GINTAMA THE FINAL" is now in theaters. Enjoy the last Gintama at your own pace and at your own convenience.
