Akiba Research Institute is currently running a giveaway campaign in which one lucky winner will win an "Evangelion Model Smart Mist" typography ver.

In commemoration of the release of "Shin Evangelion the Movie" on January 23, 2021 (Sat), an Evangelion model non-contact automatic atomizer "Smart Mist" will go on sale from December 1, 2020 (Tue) at EVANGELION STORE ONLINE and various EC sites. The product is available from December 1, 2020 (Tue.).

The product is a non-contact hand cleaner that detects when a hand is held over it and sprays disinfectant solution. The product is made of ABS/PP(*), making it hygienic and safe for outdoor use. In addition, the power supply is cordless thanks to the use of a dry-cell battery system, and the lightweight design makes the device easy to carry and excellent for installation and transportation. In addition, any type of disinfectant solution can be used inside the bottle, including alcohol and sodium hypochlorite. It can be continuously sprayed approximately 2,000 times, and can be used in stores, tenants, and various facilities where many visitors are expected.

Two color variations are available: "Entry Plug ver.", which is inspired by the exterior of Evangelion's cockpit, and "Typography ver.", which uses Matisse-EB, also known as the Eva font, and is studded with lines from the film in typography.
ABS resin and polypropylene are plastic materials with excellent strength and heat resistance.
