Developed and operated by EXNOA, with Nitroplus in charge of the worldview, scenario, and character design, "Touken Ranbu-ONLINE-" is a sword training simulation in which famous swords are transformed into warriors, known as "Touketei-danshi" (sword fighters). You are the "Toukete-danshi" who lead them.) You become the "SANJINSA," the leader of these swords, and go into battle to protect history. To commemorate the sixth anniversary of the sword cultivation simulation "Touken Ranbu-ONLINE-" on January 14, 2021, a new event "Special Mission Investigation Keio Kofu" will be held.

The "Special Mission Investigation" event has so far been implemented in October 2018 with "Special Mission Investigation Jurakudai", April 2019 with "Special Mission Investigation Bunkyu Tosa Han", November 2019 with "Special Mission Investigation Tempo Edo", April 2020 with "Special Mission Investigation Keicho Kumamoto This "Special Mission Investigation Keio Kofu" will be the fifth "Special Mission Investigation".
Each "Special Mission Investigation" focuses on five swordsmen that users can select at the start of the game, called the "Five Swordsmen of the Beginning," and this event will focus on "Kashu Kiyomitsu (cv. Toshiki Masuda)" in the "Special Mission Investigation.

In this event, an "inspector" will appear for the first time since "Juraku Tei," and will request the participants to go on a new "special mission investigation.

Other enhancements will be made to the game to make it more enjoyable, such as the ability to automatically progress through some of the battles and the ability to select the speed of battle.
