Today, January 13, 2020, Akiba Research Institute's official voting project "Decide the best anime of the year! Akiba Research Institute Anime Awards 2020" started today, January 13, 2020. Voting will be open until January 27th.

In this voting project, based on the results of the popularity vote after the end of each season in 2020, 4 works from 1st to 4th in each vote, totaling 16 works, were picked up. In addition, four works recommended by the Akiba Research Institute editorial department were added, for a total of 20 nominees, and the best anime work aired or released in 2020 will be decided by your vote.
