Ninja action "Cyber Shadow" launches on Switch/PS4/PS5 on January 26th! Switch version is 25% off, with a 25% off promotion!

The Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 versions of the 8-bit taste ninja 2D action game "Cyber Shadow" will be released in Japan and Asian regions. The game will be released on January 26, 2021 (Tuesday), the same as in Europe and the United States.

Inti Creates released its first in-house published title, "Blue Thunderbolt (Armed Blue) Gunvolt" on Nintendo 3DS in 2014, with respect to Yacht Club Games, which released "Cyber Shadow" in the West. Since then, the two companies have developed a long-standing friendship, including a series of collaborations with Yacht Club Games' flagship title "Shovel Knight. The release of this title in Japan and the Asian region was made possible by an offer from Yacht Club Games.

When Yacht Club Games announced the release of "Cyber Shadow" at PAX East 2019 in Boston, USA, we also met with the creator, Aarne Hunziker, and were impressed by his sincere attitude toward game production. This was the driving force behind the release of the game.

Mr. Hunziker was in charge of all parts of the game except for the music, and he created the game almost by himself. He has a deep knowledge of 2D action games developed in Japan in the late 1980s, and the staff at Inti Creates strongly sympathized with him. We hope you will enjoy this good old retro-style 2D action game.

About amiibo support for the Switch version

Regarding the Nintendo Switch version's compatible amiibo, the following amiibo, which are sold mainly in the West, are supported.

Shovel Knight, Plague Knight, Spectre Knight, King Knight, and Gold Shovel Knight.

A man who is born with the ability to sense the chi of his surroundings, share memories, detect signs, and imitate skills.
