Mobile Suit Gundam: Senko no Hathaway", the first trailer is released! Souma Saito as Gundam pilot, Lane Aim!

It was announced that Souma Saito has been cast as the Gundam pilot Lane Aim in the movie "Mobile Suit Gundam: Senko no Hathaway," which is scheduled to open in theaters nationwide on May 7, 2021 (Friday). The first trailer was also released.

The movie "Mobile Suit Gundam: Senko no Hathaway" is an anime that follows the movie "Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack" and is based on a novel written by Yoshiyuki Tomino, the creator of "Mobile Suit Gundam," which was published in three volumes between 1989 and 1990 (total number of copies sold: over 1.3 million). The film version is based on the novel written by Yoshiyuki Tomino, the creator of "Mobile Suit Gundam. It has already been announced that the film version will be a trilogy, with the first part scheduled to be released on July 23, 2020 (Thursday, national holiday), but the release was postponed in light of the global spread of the new coronavirus infection.

It was announced that Souma Saito will voice the young pilot of the MS Penelope, Lane Aim, inthe movie "Mobile Suit Gundam: Senko no Hathaway" which is scheduled to be released in theaters nationwide on May 7, 2021 (Friday).

He has also played the role of Tadashi Yamaguchi in "HIQUE!!!" and Gentaro Yumeno of the popular "Hypnosis Mike" series, as well as Yamagi Gilmaton of "Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans. Comments from Mr. Saito have arrived, and will be introduced below.

The trailer begins with the self-introduction of Hathaway Noah. The "Messa-F01 type" mobile suit, which is operated by the Mufti as its mainstay, flies by, and also depicts Colonel Kenneth of the Federal Forces, who is pursuing the leader of the Mufti, and the mysterious girl, Gigi.
Also shown is Hathaway tearfully saying, "Then tell me, how to destroy the depths of this mechanism. The trailer shows that a heated battle between the Earth Federation Forces and the "Mufti" led by Hathaway is about to unfold.

Twelve years have passed since the end of the Second Neo Zeon War (Char's Rebellion) in U.C. 0105-. Even after the "Axis Shock," which seemed to indicate the future of humanity and the cosmic century, the world is still in a state of confusion, and military conflicts are still occurring intermittently.
The Earth Federation government had become even more corrupt, with the upper echelons not only accelerating the pollution of the Earth, but also carrying out an inhumane policy of "manhunting" by forcibly taking civilians into space.
The anti-Earth Federation government organization "Mufti" led by a man called "Mufti Nabiyu Erin" stood up against such corruption in the Earth sphere.
