The Detective is Already Dead." is a light novel written by Jyun Futago, winner of the 15th MF Bunko J Light Novel Newcomer Award, with the latest volume 4 released on November 25, 2020, and a comic book version by Mugiko serialized in "Monthly Comic Alive" since July 2020.

The TV anime adaptation has now been decided, and the first visuals, character setting pictures, cast and staff information, and congratulatory illustrations have all been revealed.

<Synopsis
The main character, Kimihiko Kimizuka, met the brilliant and brilliant detective Siesta 10,000 meters up in the sky, had a dazzling adventure that lasted three years, and then parted ways with her. The detective is now dead. But the story continues. This is the story of an assistant who has lost a great detective and rises again.
