Switch/PS4/PS5 "Cyber Shadow" released today, PV released! Enjoy retro-style 2D action!

Inti Creates today released the Switch/PS4/PS5 versions of Mechanical Head Studios' 8-bit tasting ninja 2D action game "Cyber Shadow" in Japan and Asian regions.

Inti Creates released its first in-house published title, "Blue Thunderbolt (Armed Blue) Gunvolt" on Nintendo 3DS in 2014, with respect to Yacht Club Games, which released "Cyber Shadow" in the West. Since then, the two companies have developed a long-standing friendship, including a series of collaborations with Yacht Club Games' flagship title "Shovel Knight. The release of this title in Japan and the Asian region was made possible by an offer from that Yacht Club Games.

When Yacht Club Games announced the release of "Cyber Shadow" at PAX East 2019 in Boston, USA in March 2019, we also met with the creator, Aarne Hunziker, and were impressed by his sincere attitude toward game production. This was also the driving force behind the release of the game. Mr. Hunziker, a native of Finland, was in charge of all parts of the game except for the music, and he created the game almost by himself. He has a deep knowledge of 2D action games developed in Japan in the late 1980s, and the staff at Inti Creates shares this knowledge.

The excellent level design of the game, which gradually increases in difficulty from the beginning stages to the extremely difficult levels at the end, is reminiscent of arcade games of the past.
