My Hero Academia Exhibition DRAWING SMASH", the advance ticket lottery for the Tokyo venue has started!

The first original art exhibition of the hit manga "My Hero Academia" will be held at Mori Arts Center Gallery from April 23 (Friday) to June 27 (Sunday), 2021. Ticket sales for the Tokyo venue began today.
(The exhibition will also be held in Osaka from July 16 (Fri.) of the same year.)

My Hero Academia" is a hero action manga by Kohei Horikoshi, serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump since 2014. In a world where everyone has some kind of supernatural ability called "personality," the main character, Midoriya Izuhisa (a.k.a. "Deku"), who had no personality, enrolls in the prestigious hero training school, Yuuei High School, and aims to become the best hero he can be. The series has sold a total of 3,000 copies. The series has sold more than 30 million copies (as of January 2021), and the first four TV anime seasons and the movie version have been released so far.

Finally, ticket sales for "My Hero Academia" first original art exhibition "My Hero Academia Exhibition DRAWING SMASH" at Tokyo venue started today. Tickets for this exhibition will be sold by Lawson Ticket on all days, and will be available by lottery for the first three days of the exhibition on April 23 (Fri.), 24 (Sat.), and 25 (Sun.).

General tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis from February 13 (Sat.) at 10:00. As a special gift for visitors, a "special leaf" with an American Comic taste containing popular episodes of the original work in color will be handed out at the venue.

An audio guide will also be available for purchase, featuring newly recorded character voices by the voice cast of the "Hiroaca" anime series, which will begin its fifth season on March 27 (Saturday). This is a special feature that can only be heard at the exhibition, allowing visitors to enjoy the exhibition together with the popular characters.

In addition, the exhibition will change between the first and second halves of the exhibition, and additional highlights of the exhibition, such as an area where visitors can take photos, will be revealed. The total number of copies of the "Hiroaca" series has exceeded 30 million (as of January 2021), and its popularity is further accelerating. Stay tuned for more information on this exhibition.

Exhibition Contents (partial introduction)

Some sections are open to the public! There will be a section on Chapter 4, which changes between the first and second semesters, as well as a section focusing on popular anime series. In addition, some sections of Chapter 3 can be photographed.

Chapter 3: HEROES vs VILLAINS - Clash of Fates
An eerie "Villains" hideout spreads out in the space. Life-size "heroes" and "enemies" face off, and you feel as if you are lost in the battlefield. Don't miss the exhibition of illustrations of memorable scenes carefully selected for each character.
Photography is allowed only in this area.
Except for some areas where photography is allowed, taking photos or videos is prohibited in the exhibition hall.

Chapter 4: The Super Bout! -Individuality x War
Heroes" and "villains" - the battle between two incompatible entities is sometimes extremely fierce. Here, carefully selected episodes from the many battles are displayed in a large volume!
Experience with your whole body the life-threatening battles between these arch-enemies, which also reflect the author's passionate thoughts and feelings.
Some of the exhibits will be changed between the first half (April 23 - May 23) and the second half (May 24 - June 27).
