The 44th Japan Academy Awards" Best Animated Feature Film Award went to five films, including "Blade of the Demon" and "Violet Evergarden.

The 44th Japan Academy Awards announced that five films won the Best Animated Feature Award: "Violet Evergarden the Movie," "Entsu-machi no Pupel," "Demon Slayer the Movie: Infinity Train," "Josee, the Tiger and the Fish," and "STAND BY ME Doraemon 2. The awards were presented to the following five films.

The winners of 15 categories and the Best New Actor Award at the 44th Japan Academy Awards, which honor outstanding films released in Japan between December 16, 2019 and December 31, 2020, were announced today, January 27, 2021, with "Violet Evergarden the Movie" winning the Best Animated Feature Award, Five films won the Best Animated Feature Award: "Violet Evergarden the Movie," "Entsu-machi no Pupel the Movie," "Demon Slayer the Movie: Infinity Train," "Josee, the Tiger and the Fish," and "STAND BY ME Doraemon 2.


The award ceremony will be held on March 19, 2021 at the Grand Prince New Takanawa Pamir Pavilion, where the Best Animated Feature Award will be presented to the best film among the five Best Animated Feature Awards.
