TV anime "Moriarty in a melancholy land", Blu-ray&DVD Volume 1 to be released on January 27 (Wed.)! Details of the special limited edition are now available!

Namco Bandai Arts will release the first Blu-ray and DVD volume of the TV anime "Melancholy Moriarty" on January 27, 2021.

Moriarty" is a popular manga series based on Conan Doyle's "Sherlock Holmes" series and serialized in Shueisha's "JUMP SQ." (composed by Ryosuke Hatsuuchi and drawn by Teru Miyoshi). It is a story of revolution through crime, featuring Sherlock Holmes' arch-enemy Moriarty. As of January 2021, volumes 1-13 of the comic have been released, and the total number of copies sold has exceeded 4 million.

The first TV anime will be broadcast from October to December 2020, and the second TV anime is scheduled to be broadcast from April 2021. The animation is directed by Kazuya Nomura, with character design by Toru Okubo and animation production by Production I.G.

The TV anime "Moriarty of the Melancholy Nation" will be released on Blu-ray and DVD volume 1 on January 27, 2021. The contents of the special limited edition have been revealed.
The special limited edition will come with a sleeve case newly drawn by Toru Okubo, the character designer.
