Valkyrie, a tactical music unit from the anime "Macross Delta", held their latest live tour "Valkyrie never give up !!!!!" from December 2020. Their latest live tour "Valkyrie Never Give Up " was held at Zepp Haneda (TOKYO) on January 22, 2021.
In response to the declaration of a state of emergency to prevent the spread of a new type of coronavirus, the audience was restricted from cheering out loud as in other performances, and were seated to watch the show, but since this was the last performance after a postponement, the audience looked at the stage with great expectations. The opening performance was a video of "Dancing in the Moonlight. It was the same start as the "#AirValkyrie Premium" live performance that was distributed without audience last October, and it seemed as if the "#AirValkyrie" and this tour were connected as one.
As the audience's spirits were rising, the curtain that had been showing the video came down and the real Valkyrie appeared on stage. They introduced themselves with the number "Welcome to the Valkyrie World! Welcome to the Valkyrie World! The audience was warmed up by "Welcome to the Valkyrie World!", followed by "Absolute Zero θ Novatik" with exquisite harmony and distinctive vocals that drew the audience into the world created by the song. In the CD version, the song is called "Ko-Ki-Yo" (meaning "I love you"). The lyrics were changed to "I love you" by Higashiyama, which is also impressive. Many of the audience may have been struck by his whisper voice.
The solo medley corner started with "Teary-Eyed Explosion Sound" with the passionate singing voices of Kaname Yasuno, Reina Higashiyama, and Makina Nishida, followed by "Love! Silent Hacker" by Reina Delta Higashiyama, and "Onyanoko☆girl" by Makina Delta Nishida, who was cute in both singing and dancing. For the audience who could not speak, Nishida proposed to make a bunny mark with a piece of paper and raise it in time to "Kara no! The audience was united by Nishida's suggestion that the audience who could not speak made bunny marks with their pieces and raised them in time to "Kara! The last song of the medley was "Kaze ha Naikanashiki Huki (Wind Blows Without Notice)," in which Freya Delta Suzuki sang the main part. With her sad voice, she blew a quiet but powerful wind in the audience, changing the atmosphere of the venue.
Continuing the serious atmosphere, Kaname Yasuno, Reina Higashiyama, and Makina Nishida sang "AXIA -Daisuki de Daikirai" with Yasuno's emotionally charged vocals. In addition, the image of the Valkyrie off the screen in the background is just like Kaname herself. The link between the images and the stage is one of Valkyrie's main attractions, and this time they incorporated images from the TV version of "Macross Delta", "Macross Delta the Movie: Gekijo no Valkyrie", and the music rhythm game application "Uta Macross", which seemed to draw the audience even more into the world of "Macross Delta". Later, during "GIRAFFE BLUES," Freya Delta Suzuki's vibrato, as if she were crying, and Miun Delta Junna's taut, airy voice moved the audience to tears.
After a costume change, the audience was invited to "Love! HARRATION THE WAR". The audience could feel their hands waving the penlights as they listened to the lighthearted singing and pop melodies. After talking about their new costumes and what they would like to wear in the future, the Valkyries' voices exploded into another level with "Nai nai borderline," in which their five voices intertwined with each other in a profound way, "Bokura no Senjo," in which their powerful voices overwhelmed the audience, the speedy "WalkureWalkure Attack! the opening theme song for the TV series "If it's just once in love," which can be said to be Valkyrie's signature song. The singing voice of Miun Delta Junna, who sang as if she was squeezing out her heart, seemed to make my heart tighten.
From this point on, the last part of the show began! The five members took off their jackets in time to the rhythm of the song "Rungu ga Pikakko Toratte (When Lun glows)" and moved freely as they ran to the cameras at the top and back of the stage and posed for the cameras. Plenty of comical facial expressions were also shown, showing the cute side of the Valkyries. Freya Delta Suzuki's stage performance was also impressive, as she repeatedly jumped high to get the audience excited.
After the last MC, they performed their latest number "Mirai ha Onna no Tame ni Aru" (The Future is for Onna). The dance was a highlight of the show, and one could not take one's eyes off the stage for even a moment. The stage was once again free for "Valkyrie Stopped". The members' friendly interaction and the strength of their trusting relationship were evident in the chirpy banter, which made me feel warm and fuzzy. During the song, Freya Delta Suzuki broke through a giant calligraphy sign that read "Give up. The members have been writing this huge calligraphy for the entire tour, and at the final performance, the five members wrote one character each. The five members wrote one character each for the final show. By "breaking through" the word "give up," they expressed "never give up," which is also the title of the live.
After the main event, the audience applauded for an encore. Gradually, the venue became one, and the sound became louder and louder together.
The first song, "Valkyrie Never Betrayed," was so powerful and full-throttle that it was hard to believe it was an encore. The song was so powerful and full-throttle that it was hard to believe it was an encore. The audience could feel the emotions of having made it to the end of the concert in one piece. In the last MC, he said, "We were able to reach the final performance without missing a single member. I hope we can continue to have a place to deliver music to everyone without stopping or giving up" (Kaname ΔYasuno), "It is a vaccine for us to have a place to deliver songs, energy, and smiles, and I hope we can deliver a vaccine for your hearts" (Reina ΔHigashiyama), and "I hope we can continue to have a place to deliver music to everyone without stopping or giving up" (Kaname ΔYasuno). I am so happy to have this opportunity to deliver our songs to you all live" (Makina Delta Nishida), "I love the five of us who have been performing together, I am so happy to have had this opportunity to sing for you all live" (Makina ΔJunna). Freya Delta Suzuki, who was the last one to join the tour, heard Miun Delta JUNNA's words and said, "Our JUNNA is so cool! She continued with a tearful "You all are so cool! Then, with tears streaming down her face, she continued, "Your laughter makes me and Freya feel that we can do our best. Thank you very much for your precious time. We will definitely meet again. Until then, everyone, take care! He expressed his all-encompassing feelings.
But the excitement was not over yet. Here, a special video made solely from new footage of "Macross Delta the Movie: Never Live !!!!!!," scheduled to be released in 2021, was shown. which is scheduled to be released in 2021. In addition, a new song, "Valkyrie wa akasanai" was also shown for the first time along with the special report. The song's distinctive voices, both in the main and chorus, had an unforgettable impact once heard, and the impressive long tones by Miun Delta Junna raised expectations for the movie version even higher.
The last number was "Lun ni Hanasaku Koi wo Matteru Aru," which Freya Delta Suzuki introduced as "a song that makes you smile. The band members were introduced and sang and danced with pom-poms in their hands and big smiles on their faces. The band members sang and danced with full smiles on their faces, and finally parted with the audience in a "Valkyrie Pose. The girls, who had overcome various difficulties to reach the end of the tour, closed the tour with "smiles," as Suzuki said.
As Suzuki said in the last MC, "I am sure the theater version will be off to a great start," "Absolutely LIVE!!!!!! The tour raised expectations for "Absolutely LIVE " and Valkyrie.
