Gintama" (original story by Hideaki Sorachi) is a very popular comic series published in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (published by Shueisha) that has sold more than 55 million copies in total. This unrivaled work of entertainment, filled with gags, spectacular action, and deep humanity, continues to be loved by fans around the world. It has been announced that the popular anime series "Gintama," which has continued for 15 years, will "this time for real" (!?) come to an end. GINTAMA THE FINAL" is now in theaters.

The first full-length movie footage has been unveiled!

The footage released this time shows Gin-san, Takasugi, and Katsura talking about their past as they run to stop Utsuro, an immortal demon who is plotting to destroy the entire universe.

The enemy that awaits them is the other persona of Yoshida Shoyo, who the three of them admired as their mentor in their childhood, and who Gin-san once killed to protect Takasugi and Katsura during the Exclusionist War.
After the Exclusionist War, Gin-san became the governor of Manjiya, Takasugi became the governor of the Onibeitai, a group of radical expoliticists, and Katsura became an expoliticist with the goal of restoring the world to its former state. This scene, in which the three men resolve to fight with their respective feelings in their hearts, will inevitably bring tears to the eyes of fans and audiences alike.

In addition, a digest version of the stage greeting held on January 9 (Sat) will be additionally screened after the main film of "GINTAMA THE FINAL" at theaters nationwide from February 5 (Fri).
