Shota Aoi, who is active as a voice actor, artist, and actor, will hold the "JOYSOUND presents Shota Aoi ONLINE LIVE at Nippon Budokan Utaibito" on Saturday, March 6, 2012. A message from Shota Aoi was also released.

This time, the live broadcast was live from Nippon Budokan, where the live performance was scheduled to be held in March this year, five years after the previous Budokan performance. Called "Utaibito," the live performance at the Nippon Budokan will consist of only vocalist Shota Aoi and piano accompaniment by a pianist, and will take a completely different approach to the stage. This new challenge to express Shota Aoi's singing voice in a simpler way is sure to be a highlight of the event.

The main visual of the live performance unveiled today shows Mr. Aoi in a pure white costume in an empty space, which makes us expect that he himself will create something with the power of music.

We are pleased to announce that we will hold "Shota Aoi ONLINE LIVE at Nippon Budokan Utaibito" on March 6!
As for this online live this time... Originally, I had a firm plan to perform at the Budokan again on this day, which is exactly 5 years since I, Shota Aoi, performed at the Budokan for the first time.
However, due to the increasingly virulent coronavirus, while I really wanted to see everyone at the venue... I had to abandon the live concert because safety still comes first.
However, we still had time and space to sing.
Even if we could not meet in person, we thought that by delivering the live performance from the wonderful space of the Budokan, it would be something special, and this online live performance was born out of our courage after much thought and consideration.

We wanted to give it our all to make up for the disappointment of having to cancel last year's tour, and for the feelings we had been building up until this day. And I want to put all my energy into "one song".

This time, I would like to present the world of Shota Aoi with a pianist.

I don't know how much I can do with my voice, which used to be my complex but is now my best weapon, but I will sing with all my strength and feelings so that I can push as many people as possible.
