The latest March issue of "Seiyu Grand Prix" (published by Shufunotomo Infos) went on sale on Wednesday, February 10. The number of "Seiyu Meikan" (voice actors' directory) has reached 955.

Seiyu Grand Prix" (published by Shufunotomo Infos), a monthly magazine specializing in voice actors, celebrated its 26th anniversary. The latest March issue, which will be released on February 10 (Wed.) and features the cast of "The Bride of the Five Equals" on the cover, comes with the famous supplement "Seiyu Meikan 2021" (Seiyu Meikan 2021).

The number of voice actors who are active in various fields, such as character voices for TV animation and games, dubbing for foreign dramas, and other activities as artists, as well as appearing on YouTube and TV programs, continues to expand explosively, and the number of people listed in the "Seiyu Meikan" shows this.
The latest "Seiyu Meikan 2021: Women's Edition" has finally reached 955 names.

It was 20 years ago in 2001 that the magazine's "Seiyu Meikan" first appeared as a supplement to the magazine. The number of women in the magazine was only 225. The number of women in the magazine has increased every year since then, with the 2008 edition topping 500, the 2016 edition topping 700, and the latest edition in 2021 topping 955, more than four times the number in the original Seiyu Meikan.

It includes not only the female cast of the hit anime "Demon Slayer" and "Jujutsu Kaisen," but also the already much-talked-about new series "Love Live! Superstar!" Liella!" and the cast of the hot project "D4DJ," as well as 48 new names. The magazine's March issue is a must-read for anyone interested in the voice-over industry.
