Cast Comments

M.A.O. (as Frau)

─ What is your impression of this film?
When I read the original story, I felt that it is a story with a very deep theme. The story is about how people of different races and positions have different values and different ways of perceiving right and wrong, and how they can come to understand each other and compromise with each other as conflicts arise from these differences. I was deeply impressed by the confrontations with the characters that Sally and her group meet on their journey.

─ ─ Impressions and enthusiasm of the characters
Frau is an abomination to people because she is a subhuman, but I thought she was a very honest character who goes at her own pace. I would like to play the role so that I can deliver the character's simple and simple atmosphere, as well as his coolness and love for carrots (laugh) that sometimes strikes at the very essence of the character. I hope you will look forward to the broadcast!

Toshiki Masuda (playing the role of Hawthorne)

─ What is your impression of this work?
I was quite surprised at first when I heard that it was a fantasy manga based on a Japanese folktale, Momotaro. The story overwhelms me with its worldview that continues to expand as I read it, and I look forward to reading each episode.
The serialization is still continuing, and I am looking forward to the future development of this work.

─ Your impression of the character and your enthusiasm
I had a hard time finding the right character to play the role of Hawthorne because of his lack of individuality.
I felt that he was the character who was the most flatly involved in the story, since he is surrounded by unique characters.
However, he can be quite cool, so I also struggled to find a balance between the two.
As a result, I would like to do my best as a hard worker (laughs).

Megumi Toda (Carrot)

─ What is your impression of this work?
It is a work that focuses on the justice and circumstances of both people and demons, so the more I read it, the more I feel emotionally involved with both sides.
I hope that Sally will soon create a world where both sides can coexist!

───Impressions of the characters and your enthusiasm
Carrot (eye demon) witnesses various "justice from the human side" as she works with humans, but from the perspective of a former demon, she often feels anger and confusion about it.
They often feel anger and confusion from the perspective of former ogres.
I have the impression that she has gained many insights after working with Sally and her friends.
I would like to play the role with care so as not to lose the sensitive mentality that is unique to her and the step by step steps she takes to open up her heart to her friends.

Jiro Saito (Inu)

─ What is your impression of this film?
Momotaro, whom I longed for as a child, has appeared in a novel story! However, this is not just a story about exterminating ogres. The conflicts and discrimination between various races, such as humans and ogres, and even subhumans, are similar to those we face in our real world. I am very much looking forward to seeing what answers the protagonists will find as they travel and overcome many hardships.

─ What is your impression of the characters and your enthusiasm for the project?
It's hard to say, but I'm more of a cat person, and I actually own a cat, but of course I love dogs too! The dog seems to be trying to be cool, but he is very worried about Mikoto. I don't know how things will develop in the future, but I will do my best to follow Mikoto for the sake of Monkey and Pheasant!

<Introduction
It is a story from a long time ago. Once upon a time, there were a grandfather and a grandmother.
The grandfather went to the mountains to mow the lawn and the grandmother went to the river to wash clothes.
Finally, they conquered the ogres, but it seemed that there were ogres in other countries, so...
Momotaro crossed the sea.
The great thing is that he beat them. The only thing to be happy about is that he saved them. The only thing... that was no good. ......

What I enjoyed ────

This is a what if story: ......
What if there is more than one big peach that washed ashore...
What if the peach that washed ashore in Japan was just one of several...
