Homura & Hikari from "Xenoblade 2" join "Super Smash Bros. SPECIAL" on Switch!

On "Nintendo Direct 2021.2.18" broadcast on February 18, Homura and Hikari from "Xenoblade 2" were announced as the ninth paid additional content for Nintendo Switch's "Super Smash Bros. SPECIAL".

First of all, let's take a look at the entry movie.

The two legendary blades known as "Heaven's Holy Grail" and partners of the main character Rex appear in "Smash Bros!
You can switch between the two at any time during a match. They carry the power of fire and the speed of light, and use special powers such as Flare Smash and Causality Prediction to pave the way. Rex is also likely to appear in some parts of the game.

The delivery is scheduled for March 2021, so look forward to it. Also, the fighter page is now available on the official website.
With the addition of Homura / Hikari, there are now a total of 84 fighters in the game. In the group illustration, the two appear alongside Shulk, wading through the fighters.

In addition, a special illustration by Masatsugu Saito, the character designer of "Xenoblade 2," was also released to commemorate their entry.

In addition to Homura / Hikari, which will be distributed next month, "Fighter Pass Vol. 2" (3,300 yen including tax) is now available for purchase, offering a total of six additional contents including Mien Mien, Steve / Alex, Sephiroth, and two more to be announced. Those who want to play with more fighters should definitely try this.
