Assassin's Creed Valhalla" begins delivery of Season 1 "Yule Season" update featuring "River Raids"!

For "Assassin's Creed Valhalla" for Xbox Series X/S/Xbox One/PS4/PS5/PC, a new update has been released for Season 1 "Yule Season".

Assassin's Creed Valhalla is an open-world action RPG game where player choice and exploration are central to the game experience. Challenges, unique characters, memorable stories, and beautiful scenery await players at various points in the game.
The game also offers a variety of customization options, including hairstyles, tattoos, face paint, weapons, equipment, and the gender of the main character, which can be changed at any time. Players will be forced to make a variety of wise choices to protect the future of their friends, whether it be forming political alliances, making decisions in battle, or choosing conversations.

This update adds a new game mode for all players, "River Raids," new Yoms Viking upgrades, new abilities and rewards, and new facilities in the settlement, the "River Raids Landing" and the "Yoms Viking Hall," for free.

The "River Raids" content offers a new raiding experience that can be played over and over again based on the raiding mechanics featured in the film.

■ High-Risk Raids
Regardless of your progress in the main game, you will be able to earn new rewards on special maps.
Unlike the raids in the main game, fallen comrades must be revived or they will be temporarily lost.
■ Yoms Viking Sailors
You can invite your friends' Yomes Vikings through online, and your Yomes Viking will lead them as a leader.
■New Longships
New customizable longships are available exclusively for this game mode.
By upgrading the ship's hold, more expedition supplies can be brought back.

The new "Yomus Viking's Hall" can be upgraded to three levels, and upgrades will bring higher-ranked Yomus Vikings to the ship. Higher-ranked Yoms Vikings also have a higher chance of survival in river raids.

Once you have reached England and completed the "Grantebridgeshire" or "Ledechestershire" chapter, and have finished building barracks and recruiting a Yoms Viking sub-captain in your settlement, a new NPC, Vagn, and his companions will appear on the scene. He tells us about the "River Raid" mode.
This mode will feature three new maps set around England's coastline, where raids and looting will take place along rivers.

And with this update come new abilities and rewards.

The "River Raid" game mode update is part of Season 1 "Yule Season" and will be delivered as post-launch content, with many free content updates throughout 2021 that will evolve the gameplay and world of the game for all players.
