■ Ryunosuke Kamiki as Crocodile

I am pleased to be playing the role of Mr. Crocodile!
I originally saw the original story on SNS, so I was very happy and I am looking forward to working with Nakamura Rinya again. Through this film, I hope to convey the importance of "now, this moment"! I look forward to working with you!
Kamiki Waninosuke

Nakamura Rinya as Rat
To be honest, when I received the offer, I had a hunch that they would make a movie just because it was popular. However, when I saw the original development of the film version, the thoughts that went into it, and when I came into contact with the original story again, I strongly felt that this would be a meaningful work, and at the same time, I reflected on my preconceived notions. I myself am looking forward to seeing how Mr. Mouse will speak.

■Subaru Kimura as Mole
My name is Subaru Kimura, and I will be voicing the mole in "The Crocodile Who Lived for 100 Days. It's like a dream come true! I still remember clearly when I was chosen to play the role in this movie as if it was 100 days ago. I am so happy to be involved in this extremely popular and much-loved film. I will put 100% of my energy into acting and delivering the film so that everyone who watches it will be able to enjoy the world of 100 Crocodiles reborn as a movie! I look forward to your enjoyment!

Yuko Shinki as Senpai
I was very happy when I heard that I was going to play the role of Sempai because I knew about this work before I heard about it and loved it. I was completely absorbed in reading the original story, which I thought was a work that made me feel relieved thanks to the warm and humane animals. After I finished reading it, I felt as if it taught me to think about the importance of everyday life and to appreciate the people around me. I would like to do my best to convey such a warm view of the world to those who watch the movie.

Staff Comments and Profiles
Director/Screenplay : Shinichiro Ueda
It was January of last year when I decided that I wanted to make a film about a crocodile that dies in 100 days. It was when the four-panel story was still being serialized on Twitter, and as a reader, I had no way of knowing how the story would turn out. This ordinary, wonderful everyday life. I wanted to depict the time that flows between the frames of such an everyday life.
Just as production began, the world changed drastically with the Corona disaster. The script was largely rewritten accordingly. The title was changed to "The Crocodile That Lived for 100 Days. While it is a universal story that transcends time, I believe it is also a film that could only be made now and should be seen now.
I am working hard with my wife Fukuda to create an animated film that only we can create, through discussions with Mr. Kikuchi, the author of the original story, and other staff members.
We hope that this film will be a source of strength for someone living today.

Director/Screenplay: Miyuki Fukuda
It was fun, sad, and painful. The crocodiles, who spent 100 days together with you, fit into your everyday life with their own feelings. We put our own interpretation on the gentle and calm charm of the original story and the feelings we received from Mr. Tokichi and put them into the film. We hope that through this film, everyone will have the opportunity to meet the crocodiles again.

Original story by Yuki Kikuchi
As the author of the original story, I am very happy to hear that the movie "The Crocodile Who Lived for 100 Days" based on "The Crocodile Who Will Die in 100 Days" will be released. Thank you very much!
While I was happy to hear about the film adaptation when I was working on the SNS series, I was also happy to hear, "Seriously? How will it be like? I was full of joy and anxiety.
I was so happy to hear the news, but at the same time, I was also anxious and full of joy. What? What? I was full of surprise and joy.
As I write this comment, I still don't know how the movie will turn out, but I hope that people who have read the original work and those who have not read it will enjoy it. I hope that both readers and non-readers of the original will enjoy the film.

<Story
In March, when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, the crocodile is nowhere to be seen at the cherry blossom viewing party that everyone had promised. On his way to pick him up on his motorcycle, his best friend Rat worries and sends a photo of the cherry blossoms in full bloom to his friends, but when he receives it, Wani's phone is lying on the road with a broken screen.
100 days ago --- The crocodile visits the hospitalized rat and makes him laugh with his favorite one-liners. A phone call with his mother, who sends him oranges every year. A fleeting romance with a sempai at his part-time job. Ramen noodle shop with friends. His favorite games, basketball, movies... Wani's everyday life is ordinary and mundane.
One hundred days after the cherry blossom viewing, the cherry trees are green and the falling petals have turned to rain. The friends were unable to face their memories of the crocodile, and they were no longer in contact with each other.
The daily life that has changed, and the days that go on. This is a story that could happen to anyone.
