2021 Spring Anime "SHAMAN KING", Yoko Sawaumi will play the role of beautiful boy Liselg Diesel!

New characters and cast members have been announced for the TV anime "SHAMAN KING," which will begin airing on TV Tokyo in April 2021.

SHAMAN KING," a popular comic book series by Hiroyuki Takei that has sold more than 35 million copies, tells the story of a boy who can see spirits, Ip Asakura, who participates in shaman fights to determine the top shaman and fights with his friends to become the Shaman King. A new chapter, "SHAMAN KING THE SUPER STAR," is currently being serialized in "Shonen Magazine Edge" (Kodansha).
It will be adapted into a completely new TV anime in April 2021. Based on "SHAMAN KING" (35 volumes), the series will be drawn to the end.

I think the best thing about it is Ip-kun's "let's go easy" spirit. If we could, we would like to go slowly, too! I wonder if there is such a longing. I wonder if he has such a longing. And Ip-kun is not only loose, he is strong! ...Too much cheating already!

───Can you tell us about your enthusiasm for playing the character of Lyserg Diezel?
Twenty years ago, I was given the role of Liselg, a role that I had never played as a boy before. And it was a regular role.... I remember how thrilled I was at that time! I will do my best to return to my original intention. I will try my best to do my best from the beginning!
