From the anime "Mobile Police Patlabor" comes the plastic model "TYPE-J9 Griffon Flight & Aqua Unit Set"!

Good Smile Company will release a plastic model of the "TYPE-J9 Griffon Flight & Aqua Unit Set" from the anime "Mobile Police Patlabor" in August 2021 as the latest model in the fully posable "MODEROID" kit series. Pre-orders began today, February 18, 2021 (Thursday). The price is 5,000 yen (excluding tax).

The "Mobile Police Patlabor" OVA series (initial OVA) started in 1988. Since then, the series has expanded into a comic series (Weekly Shōnen Sunday), TV series, theater productions, and OVA (new OVA), and continues to be a hit series that continues to excite fans with its innovative promotions.
The "Mobile Police Patlabor 2 the Movie," which will be released in 4DX this time, is the second theatrical film in the series, which was released in 1993 after the broadcast of the TV series and the release of the new OVA. 28 years after the first release in 1993, the previous film "Mobile Police Patlabor the Movie 4DX," which drew 40,000 viewers in the summer of 2020, will be followed by "Mobile Police Patlabor 2 the Movie 4DX," which will be released in 4DX in the summer of 2020. From the anime "Mobile Police Patlabor" comes the "TYPE-J9 Griffon," aka "Black Reaver," as a set with the Aqua Unit.

Each joint of this product is movable, and the unique organic and sharp form of the Griffon, including the huge main wings equipped on the flight unit, has been fully reproduced.

Various hand parts are included, and the impressive thumbs-up pose is also possible.
This product is selectable with the Aqua Unit, allowing for the reproduction of the two forms that appeared in the film.

The main materials are PS & ABS, and the armor, joints, and clear parts are each color-coded by molding.
In addition, pre-colored parts allow you to reproduce the color scheme close to the image simply by assembling the figure.

The product is scheduled to go on sale in August 2021.
