The latest information on "Anime Japan 2021" was presented at the "AJ Presentation," and official ambassador Takanori Nishikawa was on hand for the event, which is not bound by time or place!
On February 18, 2021, prior to the world's largest anime event "Anime Japan 2021," an information program "AJ Presentation" was broadcast on Nico Nico Douga, YouTube, and Periscope to quickly convey the appeal of "Anime Japan" (hereinafter referred to as AJ).
The program featured voice actors Shunta Suzuki and Mayu Mineta as MCs, AJ general producer Hiroshi Terada (Avex Pictures, Inc.), Shunsuke Nakajima (Tatsunoko Productions, Inc.), and advertising producer Masanori Fujita. Masaki Fujita, Advertising Producer (Toho Co., Ltd.). Stage Producer LEE TANAKA (Aniplex Corporation); Artist Takanori NISHIKAWA, AJ's official ambassador, will make an appearance. He presented information on "Anime Japan 2021," the first online event of its kind.

First, Mr. Suzuki and Ms. Mineta called for Mr. Terada and Ms. Nakajima, producers of the event. They talked about how they came to hold "Anime Japan 2021" following last year's "Anime Japan 2020," which was canceled due to the new coronavirus.
According to Mr. Nakajima, he was "troubled" before deciding to actually hold the event, but "when all the organizers discussed the matter, there was a desire to hold the event this time by any means possible. When we thought about what we could do as AJ under the difficult circumstances, we thought that showing the event to our fans would be the best way to return the favor," he said. He also expressed his determination, saying, "I am standing here to connect this event to next year's AJ.

The word "connect" was mentioned, and the theme of this year's AJ is "Connect = ∞.
This theme has two meanings: "We want to connect the past AJ with the future AJ," and "AJ is a brand that connects fans and works. The "8" and "∞" characters are similar, indicating the intention to continue to connect AJ from this time to next year and beyond.
The key visual for "Anime Japan 2021" is a hodgepodge of popular anime characters, both old and new. The key visuals for "Anime Japan 2021" are full of a sense of hodgepodge of popular anime characters, both old and new. "For better or worse, the key visuals for AJ are characterized by a sense of hodgepodge," say the two producers. The two producers said, "AJ's key visuals are characterized by a sense of togetherness.
Next, ticket information was announced. Purchasing a ticket allows one to view all of the day's stages as well as the organizer's policies online. In addition, each exhibitor will have an actual booth set up on site, from which each exhibitor will be able to provide their own unique distribution.
Takanori Nishikawa
The official ambassador, artist Takanori Nishikawa, took the stage next.
Nishikawa, who sings many anime songs and is also known as an avid anime fan, said that he was chosen because "in order to connect AJ to the future, we need to let more anime fans know about it. Mr. Nishikawa himself says, "I am deeply involved in anime and am also a fan of anime, so I would like to be involved as a representative of the fans.
As you know, Ms. Nishikawa was actually scheduled to give a live performance on the "White Cat Project" stage at Anime Japan 2020, but the AJ event itself was canceled due to the new coronavirus. As you know, Mr. Nishikawa was very disappointed, and when he was asked to be an ambassador for this year's event, he said, "By all means! When he was asked to be an ambassador for this event, he replied with a resounding "Yes, please!
At this point, Masaki Fujita (Toho Co., Ltd.), advertising producer, and Lea Tanaka (Aniplex Co., Ltd.), stage producer, took the stage. They introduced specific details of the event.

Lea Tanaka
Anime Japan 2021" has 46 exhibitors. Mr. Fujita said, "We want to make Anime Japan 2021 an event that is not restricted by time or location.
Mr. Tanaka also presented information on the stage. Since this is the first time the event is being held online, the capacity of the venue is no longer limited, so there will be three stages of the same size. All of these stage events will be shown online.
The stages are called "Infinity RED STAGE," "Connect GREEN STAGE," and "Everlasting BLUE STAGE.
The "Infinity RED STAGE" is a stage where singing can be performed, and mini live performances are scheduled to take place. The "Connect GREEN STAGE" will be a stage where new information on various works will be presented. The "Everlasting BLUE STAGE" will be a stage where you never know what will pop up, and each stage will have its own special features.

In addition, an AJ-sponsored event called "AJ Studio" will also be distributed.
The "4th Manga Ranking of Manga We Want to See Made into Anime," the "Production Works Channel" to learn about anime production sites, and the "Cosplayers World" with the theme of "How to Cosplay," are just a few of the many ways to enjoy anime from a variety of perspectives that will be presented. The distribution of these videos will be available 24 hours a day.
These videos can be archived for 24 hours. If you purchase tickets for both days and continue to watch nonstop, it is virtually possible to enjoy all of the broadcasts. Considering that in the past, anime fans had to give up one or the other of the two stages when they overlapped in time, many anime fans may be very grateful.
Mr. Nishikawa also cheered for "Anime Japan 2021" in response to the new normal, saying that watching AJ at home would be a good way to fight infection.
The program ended with everyone shouting AJ's catchphrase "Everything about anime is here," led by Mr. Nishikawa. The broadcast raised expectations for AJ to be held in a new form.
