ORE, TSUSHIMA" (written by Opu no Kyoudai, published by Shogakukan) began serializing on Twitter in July 2017 and has sold 420,000 copies of its comic book version. The manga, which has been the talk of the town for its realistic portrayal of the cats in the series and its huggable episodes and tear-jerking storyline, will finally be adapted into an anime in the summer of 2021.

In conjunction with the announcement, a key visual depicting the main character "Tsushima (Tsu-san)," a former stray cat, has been released. In addition, cast and staff information was also released.

The cast includes Akio Otsuka as "Tsushima (Tsu-san)," a kijiji tiger, and Mayumi Tanaka as the grandfather (actually a woman) who sheltered Tsu-san.
The staff consists of Jun Aoki, director and screenwriter of "Poppetepic," and animation production by Fanworks, creator of "Sumikko Gurashi: Sumi no Kobidashi Ehon to Himitsu no Ko" (Sumikko Gurashi: The Movie, A New Book and a Secret Friend).
