The legendary Mamoru Hosoda's "The Girl Who Leapt Through Time" opens in 4DX on April 2!

Mamoru Hosoda is an animation film director who has produced such popular works as "Summer Wars" (2009), "Bakemono no ko" (2003), and "Mirai no Mirai" (2006), which have received high acclaim both in Japan and abroad. To mark the 10th anniversary of "Studio Chizu" in 2021, "The Girl Who Leapt Through Time," which was released in 2006, will be screened at the 4DX Theater for a limited time.

Director Mamoru Hosoda reconstructed Yasutaka Tsutsui's novel and adapted it into an animated film for the first time. Makoto, a high school girl who has the ability to jump back in time, discovers the meaning of "the irreplaceable time of her life" as she redoes her past-- The film was released in 2006 in only six theaters nationwide and was received with great enthusiasm by a wide audience. The film was well received by a wide range of audiences, and the enthusiasm for the film was nationwide. This legendary film had an unprecedentedly long run of over eight months.

Director Mamoru Hosoda's animation, which vividly depicts a summer in the life of a high school student and beautifully expresses time leaps, is sure to be even more powerful in 4DX. This year marks the 15th anniversary of the release of this much-loved film, so let's go back in time to our youth in a 4DX theater.
