2021 Summer Anime "Maidragon of Kobayashi's Child S", 1st PV & 1st season Blu-ray BOX jacket revealed!

The first PV and the jacket of the Blu-ray box set of the TV anime "Kobayashi-san-chi no Maidragon S," which will start airing in July 2021, have been revealed.

Kobayashi-san-chi no Maidragon" is a TV anime based on the popular manga series in "Monthly Action" (Futabasha). It is a "mostly heartwarming, sometimes black interracial comedy" about a single, tired office worker, Ms. Kobayashi, and her housemaid, the dragon Thor, and other unique dragon girls.

It was adapted into a TV anime by Kyoto Animation in 2017. The second season "Kobayashi-san-chi no Maidragon S" will start airing in July 2021.

TV anime "Maidragon S of Mr. Kobayashi's Family" 1st PV!

In addition to Ms. Kobayashi and the four dragon girls (Thor, Kanna, Erma, and Iruru), a new dragon "Iruru" is featured in this PV in a rap style.
It was also announced in this PV that Tomomi Mineuchi will be playing the role of Iruru. It will be interesting to see how this new dragon's appearance will boost the excitement of the game.

The PV also revealed staff information, and Tatsuya Ishihara will be in charge of the film's director. The official website was also renewed in conjunction with the release of the PV. The introduction of each character has also been updated, so please check it out.

My name is Tatsuya Ishihara, and I will be directing "Kobayashi-sanchi no Maidragon S".

Normally, it is very difficult to take over a work that has been created by another director, but I felt that I was the only person who could take over this work, and with that in mind, I am now involved in the production as the director.
In the first season, there is a scene in which Thor quips to Kobayashi, "You say that as if humans are out of touch with nature. This is what makes this work interesting, and it is a consistent point throughout the series. This is something that has remained consistent throughout the series, even when the director has changed.

As Takemoto-san mentioned before, in this work, dragons and humans do not need to be on the same page. There is no sharing, but rather a parallel relationship no matter how far along it goes. We cannot understand each other, we cannot live the same time, but we are still together, and that is the underlying point of the work. I was able to work on "S" as a fun and cheerful home comedy, keeping this in mind.

Once again, I am very happy to be able to send out a work like this. I believe that everyone will enjoy this work, whether you are a fan of the past or a newcomer to the work. With the addition of the new character Iruru, "Maidragon" has become even brighter and more mischievous, so please look forward to watching it.

The first season Blu-ray BOX jacket has been unveiled!

The jacket of the TV anime "Kobayashi-sanchi no Maidragon" Blu-ray BOX, which will be released on April 21, 2021 (Wednesday), has also been revealed.

The initial bonus is a digipak and memorial case specification newly drawn by character designer Mirai Kadowaki, and it includes all 13 episodes of the TV series, as well as the extra episode episode 14 and the bonus video "Kobayashi-san-chi no 00 DRAGON".

The mischievous dragon maid is back again!
By chance, Thor the dragon ends up working as a maid at Mr. Kobayashi's house.
While sometimes (lies... a lot...) bothering his beloved Kobayashi-san, he manages to get himself into a lot of trouble. Although he is sometimes (a lie... a lot of trouble) to his beloved Mr. Kobayashi, he somehow manages to fit in with human society and does a fine (a lie... a little) maid work. He is a maid in his own right.
Kanna, Lucore, Fafnir, and Erma, who are also dragons, have also found their own place and are enjoying interspecies communication with humans.
During these quiet and sometimes turbulent days, Mr. Kobayashi was told that a new dragon had arrived.
