Square Enix announced today, February 26, 2021, that "FINALFANTASY VII REMAKE INTERGRADE" for PlayStation5 will be released simultaneously worldwide on June 10 (Thursday), with pre-orders beginning today. The company also announced "FINAL FANTASY VII THE FIRSTSOLDIER" and "FINAL FANTASY VII EVER CRISIS" titles for smartphones.

The "FINAL FANTASY" series of role-playing games originated in Japan and has been highly acclaimed worldwide for its cutting-edge visual technology, unique worldview, and rich storyline since the first title was released in 1987. The series is also actively expanding into the European and U.S. markets, and has achieved cumulative worldwide shipments and download sales of more than 159 million units (*1).

FINAL FANTASY VII" was released in 1997, and its epic and moving story, appealing characters, and visuals that make full use of the most advanced technology of the time have attracted many people.

FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE INTERGRADE", which will be released simultaneously worldwide on June 10 (Thu.), is a PS5 version of "FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE" (PS5 version) with a new episode starring Yuffy. FANTASY VII REMAKE" for PS5 offers a richer game experience with improved lighting, textures, and backgrounds.

In addition, new elements have been added, including a "Graphic Mode" that emphasizes high-resolution 4K images, a "Performance Mode" that emphasizes smooth operation at 60 fps, and a "Photo Mode" that allows users to capture memories of scenes from the game.

In the new episodes, the activities of Yuffie and his friends are depicted in two chapters. The Shinobi of Wutai who have infiltrated Midgal conspire with the original Avalanche to take on a mission to steal the Ultimate Materia from the Shinra Company.
