Darius is a side-scrolling shooting game that first appeared as an arcade game in 1986, and became a topic of conversation due to its innovative mechanism at the time, such as a large chassis with three interconnected screens and a sound system with bass speakers built into the bench seat.
The game's boss characters, based on the motifs of coelacanths, sperm whales, and other aquatic creatures, are still popular today as synonymous with the Darius franchise.
In 2010, "Darius Burst Another Chronicle" was released as a dedicated arcade cabinet for the first time in 21 years since "Darius II". The company also released "Darius Cosmic Collection" for Nintendo Switch in 2019.
To celebrate the release of "Darius Cosmic Revelation" for Switch/PS4, Taito Corporation, M2 Ltd. and BEEP are also holding a Shooting Game (hereafter STG) play-competition campaign.
In addition, the "Darius Cosmic Revelation" collaboration started today in the smartphone armament customization action game "Alice Gear Aigis". A retweet campaign will also be held to commemorate the collaboration.

Overview: Based on the PSP version of "Darius Burst", "Darius Burst Another Chronicle" was launched as an arcade version in 2010, and was later ported to PS4/PS Vita/STEAM as "~Chronicle Savers". DARIUS BURST ANOTHER CHRONICLE EX+" is a re-port of "DARIUS BURST ANOTHER CHRONICLE EX+" that recreates the "Event Mode" that was cut from the ported version, and adds new elements.
